Originally posted by aldra according to allegedly leaked documents from the Ukrainian Security Council, 40% of the Ukrainian territory is under Russian control and over 75% of the Ukie military is either destroyed or locked into cauldrons.
The word cauldron isn't very descriptive especially when you say they are locked in it. Are they encircled? Or do have salients? -

I know, thats what anti-armor rounds that cause spalding do as well. But like i said you need an ungodly amount of ANFO to blow a 50-70 ton metal box 30 feet into the air. It's wasteful, and takes too much time to prepare, time you don't have in a war. -

I don't have any percentages or other numbers in front of me right now. But if memory serves AMMONAL is slightly more powerful than straight up ANFO, best ANFO is a type ofAMMONAl made with nitromethane as the fuel oil component. Of all the compositions ANNM with micro particles of aluminum has the highest VoD and Brisance of all ANFOs.
Still though, not powerful enough to destroy a tank with, however an IED of such a design might be employed to blast the tracks of a tank to bits, or at the very least severely damage said tracks. Which takes the enemy tank out of the fight without destroying it completely. -

Originally posted by ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Their best bet would be fertilizer bombs. You could blow a tank to bits with one.
ANFO Isn't going to do much to a tank, or armored vehicle of the type aldra was describing. Unless you have an ungodly amount. But explosives of all sorts will destroy all sorts of things if you have an ungodly amount of them. A couple tons of Nitrocellulose would do the trick if you're going for the bigger is better option.
Best way to take out an armored vehicle is with munitions designed to either penetrate the armor, or cause spalding on the inside of the vehicle, the latter basically makes it so you get a shrapnel shower inside of the target.
Generally speaking tanks themselves have different kinds of ammunition too, high explosive rounds and armor penetrating rounds most commonly. -

Originally posted by SBTlauien I don't think my phone is compromised. If someone had root access, they would have access to my authenticator app, would also be able to log me out of my email account and I would likely never have even known.
How they accessed the SMS message is what baffles me. I never even received it. But I think my visual voice mail had something to do with it. I was getting message after message that read something like "Unable to log into Visual Voice Mail". Just look at the apps permissions and saw that it has SMS allowed, I just disabled it.
Visual voice mail? Also, isn't it so that a lot of ISPs use virtual services for SMS, MMS and the like kind of like VoIP but for text, the problem could be upstream. -

responsibility for North Korea's ongoing internet outages doesn't lie with US Cyber Command or any other state-sponsored hacking agency. In fact, it was the work of one American man in a T-shirt, pajama pants, and slippers, sitting in his living room night after night, watching Alien movies and eating spicy corn snacks—and periodically walking over to his home office to check on the progress of the programs he was running to disrupt the internet of an entire country.
North Korea doesn't have much internet to disrupt. But i bet Kim Yong Un was pretty pissed he couldn't play call of duty with Xi Jinping. -

2022-03-01 at 4 AM UTC in SWIM tested the bomb design he will use to kill her and her familyThat looks to be the aftermath of an explosion with a significant amount of oomph. If it is by design having ground zero be at an abandoned place is perfect cover. Bad maintenance is a plausible scenario. Only downside is, if you can call it a downside is that you need quite the explosive device to level a couple of houses in the immediately surrounding area. But again, with a vacant house, you have all the time in the world to make your preparations.
Generally collateral damage is considered bad but if it obfuscates the intended target(s) that's definitely going to work out in your favor. From a forensic standpoint at least. -

2022-03-01 at 12:59 AM UTC in This "Captain Falcon" is a real menaceHe's just a petty sadist, nothing menacing about him. He loves to get on his moral high horse and use the 'virtue' of that position as a cudgel to beat people with for his own amusement. In that sense he is a lot like an actual child molester, donning the cloak of benevolence or righteous indignation in order to appear justified in the behaviors he takes part and pleasure in. Obviously he actually doesn't give a shit about being a good person because he has no principles. Every antagonistic action he takes towards anyone is simply designed for his own amusement. He is clearly a very sick individual.

Nordic and Germanic paganism was the OG religion of the proto-Germanic and proto-Nordic peoples long before Christianity arrived on the scene. It is more ancient than Christianity and from what we know it was pretty legit. proto-Nordic/Germanic peoples are the ancestors of Scandinavians, Germans, Dutch, Frysians, Flemish, Saxons, Anglo-Saxons(e.g. The English and their descendants whether they like it or not) the Danes, The Finnish people, Icelandic peoples, and later the Kievan Rus, but to a lesser extent. However if we go further back in time, the people of the East of Europe, west of Europe, Central Europe and of course Nordic Europe all had the fundamentals of their spiritual and religious practices passed down to them from the first indo-European cultures.
Over time variations arose, but we have a pretty good idea of what it was all about due to the fact the old-Norse managed to hold on to this tradition the longest since they were Christianized much later. We have accounts of what they believed and about their way of life and their systems of ethics that have been passed down through works such as Havamal, and the Prose and Poetic Eddas.
If you read Havamal there is some great insight into what it was like. And i am of the opinion that the importance and impact of Paganism in the context i am describing it in is not to be discounted as barbaric, or anything of the sort.
Not that am saying the Christian worldview is bad, on the contrary, however paganism definitely has great historic value. And is much more nuanced than we have been led to believe. -
