I learned today that you can place .exe files in the users startup directory (and as the name implies they'll start at boot). Surely this wouldn't require admin rights, didn't check though (was doing something unrelated), but it would make the whole thing a lot easier. Just make download directly to that directory with a system call or through python or whatever. Off the top of my head it was Users/AppData/Roaming/Microsoft/Windows/Programs/StartupPrograms
Yeah i know, but this would stop working the moment the victim takes the exe out of the startup folder. Hence the reason i am making the trojan persistent by way of the registry. Just still have this service script and i want to see if i can get it to install itself with a system call out of curiosity and maybe future application. -

Come to think of it they actually did have a problem with email abuse. A lot servers would default drop mail that originated from x10 (glad I realized that sooner than later).
Well that's all I've got, I'd try all the free web hosts and see which are tor friendly.

Lol, i know right?You should set up a home server and either have a public facing website or a internal site and set up a vpn and ssh. If you set it up with certificates security is almost a non issue and you can then connect to your home internet to access the site and/or use sftp to download files.
That would be the most secure method for sure.Second to that either hostgator or a digital ocean droplet (never used this but hearrd good things).
Yeah, i believe hostgator isn't all that expensive either. I'll check out the other one you mentioned also. -

I had to comment out the authentication line in order to get to the login screen, not sure if they did this intentionally or if I fucked something up. It's a big project, I really want to get a good understanding of how it works. Half the code seems to simply point to it's own 404 screens. What I read seems to say that it's intentional? idk. Couldn't fucking get the builder exe to install on my vm, but I might have been trying to go from linux to win (I forget now).
Anyway fuck dreamweaver.
Which one are you building? Neutrino? Because i seem to remember sending you a couple, in any event do keep me posted. Personally i've been a bit busy with IRL things but i plan on working on at least one project i have going on, on the weekend.

x10 hosting restricts by IP, Holland isn't allowed and all my european VPN servers aren't either, TOR exit nodes are blocked and the few American servers i tried gave me this message: [h=5]We are not currently accepting from your Internet provider due to recent abusive activity. Totally unsure of what Zoklet/Totse spinoffs are, but i'm sure I will enjoy them.
Well, we used to be this huge dial-up bbs community/forum of thousands of people that was called the Temple of the Screaming Electron or Totse for short. Mind you this was in the time before all the information you could ever want was a google search away, i mean google existed but we had a huge collection of textfiles and guides and people of all walks of life and we specialized in fringe knowledge. Like explosives manufacturing, hacking, phone hacking AKA phreaking, drugs and drug chemistry, crime, unconventional political ideologies and that sort of thing. Then at some point the owner decided it was time to move on and we all went to the website of a then admin from totse, and the website was called Zoklet and after a couple years shitloads of drama and lulz we ended up divided over a couple venues spread across the web, we're one of the last ones here at niggasin.space.Also Hewfil kind of shot the target a little low on the age, I like them around 16 and up, the only exception would be a filled out 15 y.o.

If i want to host some files of substance a commercially available solution would be ideal, preferrably one that costs me nothing.

That's why it's actually best to harvest them yourself from the wild. The majority of the ones you do get will be dedicated. Of course, many of them will be honey pots as well.
Google already indexes a shitload of these, so it really doesn't matter if i harvest them or not. For a dedicated server though, i'd like to be able to set permissions. Also, if i use a server such as the one i linked to the actual owners will be able to remove any files i upload without me knowing. -

I'm a workaholic. I feel out of touch with reality when I'm not working. When I'm at my job, my problems are distant, I have a role in society, I fit into the big picture. Things have consequences and I have control. When I'm not there I lose my sense of agency and feel nonproductive, my time management and interpersonal skills disappear and my stress returns. I watched my grandmother die this past week and if I'm on the clock, I'm joking and working like it didn't happen but when I'm off I hit the bottle to ruminate. It's like a completely different person seizes my actions when I clock in. Maybe I'm just abnormal in my ability to compartmentalize.
