I mean they are concentration camps. They aren't extermination camps like the Nazis had, but the Nazis operated regular concentration camps too. The US did as well (they just call them internment camps because they like distancing themselves from the Nazi imagery that "concentration camp" evokes). I have seen some people claiming it counts as fucking genocide though, which is pretty goddamn crazy.
This is gonna be controversial maybe, especially coming from me, but: bundy.
bundy is bad. Maybe the effects of its high aren't super horrible and it's not physically addictive, but it is so freely available and retardedly potent and (arguably) enjoyable that it is probably dangerous to fuck with. People who fuck(ed) with bundy hard are a rare breed of bizarre retards and I'm like 75% sure it was caused by the bundy rather than the other way around.
There is absolutely no way that you are so lacking self-awareness that you can't see how this applies to you. You're like... a 25 year old who never got over chuunibyou. :^)
Even if climate change is as bad as they say it is, it's still not that bad. That is to say: it's not apocalyptic. It's a mass extinction event, sure; but not one that humans are likely to fall victim to. We could probably kill our entire planet and still manage to live here if we put our minds to it/survival was on the line. And nobody rational is saying it's going to be that bad. We're planning on living on Mars, for fuck's sake. It's going to take a lot more than a few degrees of temperature increase to stop us.
It's going to put a lot of strain on society and the ecosystem, and lot of species aren't going to survive that rapid transition. That's about it. I'm pretty much cool with just letting it play out the way it's going without intervention. It'd be a lot more interesting than humanity banding together under the banner of faggy liberals and saving the planet by going green anyway.
Because somewhere along the way all art became about critiquing society, and if your art doesn't do that it's not real art. And Hollywood is full of artists.
and like i mean because working class americans by and large think communism is a dirty word/themselves temporarily embarassed rich people, socialism in the us is pretty much entirely pushed onto a class of workers who despise socialism by champagne socialists ?
because the world changed and america has no tzar/king to overthrow and america barely has no manufacturing sector anymore so the impoverished worker aesthetic of the early 20th century (ironworkers, factories, hammers n sickles) are all completely meaningless? pretty much the entire basis of communism outside of the economic theory had to be discarded because all the big enemies it was built to fight stopped existing. all they have now is landlords and ceos.
tbf the mechanics of this game have f2p written all over them, but it's missing the microtransactions f2p games normally have to speed shit up. smh
