Almost anyone can get a Bachelors if they put in the work and have the support structure in place.

They would run away and I would chase them until I caught them, tackling then to the ground being careful not to harm the tomato, then I'd have a chat with them and find out why they did it. If I found the reason to be understandable, I would allow them to keep the tomato and make an arrangement with them if they wanted more tomatoes. If I didn't like their reasoning I would kill them right then and there to prevent the inevitable pain and suffering they would continue to cause others throughout their life by stealing their tomatoes.
It would be self-defense as my property especially something I planted and grew myself would almost feel like one of my children so yeah if you steal one of my tomato children you better have a damn good excuse or you're getting your throat cut, son.

just look up studies on development of our sense of justice. Even toddlers know right from wrong. All group thriving animals probably have something like this ingrained in them or they'd eat each other alive. -

Civilization is about moving past instinct.
The fact that we have prisons at all is a failure or shortcoming of civilization. Government restricting economic freedom is a part of that.
Too many people consider freedom to be 'do whatever you want' and not 'having equal opportunities'.
One leads to class warfare and the other leads towards a happier and more productive society. -
