    the public view doesn't leak the IP address of the poster.
    
    the fact that the username/passhash table was leaked would make it plausible that the account was used by someone else, maliciously (e.g. if your passhash is in an existing rainbow file)
    
    cops would need to have the IP address used for each post to have a realistic chance of taking it to prosecution, which would be unlikely if it's really just shitposting.

    yes, that would be a much bigger deal. I'm trying to remember if post-ids were sequentially numbered. That would have allowed the trannies to combine harvesting with DDoS using the API, if they distributed the admin auth cookie. I guess that'd have shown up in the logs though.
    
    There was a link going round for their DDoS tool, written in Rust I think. I should have downloaded it, don't remember if source code was included, or where I saw it.
