i remember working at a startup like this. it was a culture shock, i fucking hated it. it creeped me the fuck out. like sofas, playstation, most people in visually offensive shirts, and the most superficial interactions in appropriately sanctioned phrasing.
i still get a visceral reaction just thinking about it. their product was fucking shit because they made the most obviously absurd design decisions that were borderline sabotage. it was cringe watching them trying to demo this product that broke for the simplest reasons that they were too invested in to fix.
i hate these people with a passion. -

you get some religious types (and probably others too) women today who romanticize the trad wife lifestyle and i guess they just can't imagine the reality of that shit.
at the same time, i know a married couple who put 'obey' in HER wedding vow because she (a Christian) wanted to be trad with him (an autist). You'd think that's a fucking recipe for disaster but they seem to do okay. she seems to like being subservient.
So maybe men can be trusted to look after their property and police just have no business getting involved. -

layer up, good base-layer like running tights (not really tight clingy ones), and a long sleeve vest.
what you want to avoid is moisture being held against your skin - it evaporates and takes all your body heat with it.
also, keep your hands and feet warm. a pair of thin socks under thick socks, and if you warm your hands in some hot water, you feel warm for ages.
eat fatty foods and do active things. make a snowman. -
