Drugs don't seem to be smuggled up the Mississippi river now. So when shtf smuggling things would be more difficult.
So you would want to be close to the ocean. Probably the gulf coast, maybe Alaska or Washington state if you would want to live there. -

I'm thinking in a tactical sense, I like being somewhat close to the ocean. Ig you have access to it there via the river but idk if that's really as good. -

2023-08-09 at 2:09 PM UTC in the forums are dead?Kind of. I think today/Zoklet should adapt but that would mean relying on some form of social media which you can never really trust these days. A telegram group would probably be the best option but a forum for backup.

Originally posted by trippymindfuk I got stopped driving my ex's car from a cop that had a reader that was in a Walmart parking lot. I'm not sure if that was specifically what he was doing, it was a small town so he may have been. I lived like a quarter mile away and he followed me home, luckily he didn't actually pull me over because I didn't have a license. It was alerted from a warrant 2 states away and it wasn't even felony because they didn't do shit, just told her you know you got a warrant….I didn't know out of state misdemeanor warrants even showed up like that.
I think with misdemeanor warrants they have to put them in some national system to show up but they're not obligated to. Or that was what I heard or read at the time. Maybe it changed.
But I see more cops using them in little speed trap towns I guess with nothing better to fuck with anybody for. -

Originally posted by Pete Green The property is hot right now. Seems people are leaving for Chicago. But Why? 700 murders a year. its onlu 3.5 Million metro. its not small and has amazing buildings from what I hear and see on tv, the winters are shit cold and it's windy and cold (apparently) much of the year round. and Red told me the property tax is the highest in the nation for a large city. Property tax in LA and San Francisco, San Diego etc is between 1.0 to 1.4 depending on the counties. So even though Property cost lots, the property tax is very doable and in a good place for popularity and home purchases to stay high. but in Chicago it's like 3.7 percent. I mean that makes a massive dif
if a property was 100k at 1 percent then it's for the whole year 1k or about 80 bucks a month. so a million is 800 a month. but a 100k in Chicago is about 3700 a year or about 320 a month for every 100k
if you owned even a 500k assest value then thats 1600 plus a month for property tax. if its a condo and ad another 1000 HOA fee (which is about average) you're looking at 2600 dollars on top of your mortgage which is another 2800 a month?
now that's about 5200 a month for owning a home or 10k a month if its closer to a million. who the fuck can afford this? Chinese and Arabs that's who. and they're pouring in.
so it's actually cheaper to live in the state of Cali than other states right now. Only Inner City in Cali are shitted up. the wooded towns are amazing and low crime rate and good life style. you can go to the beach if you drive a few hours west or go and play in the fucking snow in your backyard certain times of the year.
So I ask, Is Chicago a good place to live?
I'm pretty sure the police there are actively trying to get them to kill each other, and probably doing it themselves sometimes if they're slacking off to get them going again. So the murders aren't a bad thing necessarily if gentrification is what you seek.
I wouldn't really want to live in the Midwest though. I just don't like the idea of it. -

There were two stores near me but one closed with the reason (the landlord pu the rent up and we are looking for a new location).
Great for books, vinyl, cds, dvds, PC/console games etc.

There is one close but it's still a chain 🫤 I may check it out.
But you should be able to find newish paperbacks for $2 locally. That's what I'm bitching about. There are discount places too. -
