Spectral is great because he’s already intolerable and acts like he has a stick up his ass without even having a shred of authority. The guy is a born and bred Internet forum moderator. -

So it's not like she'll be like "I want to spend 88 euros" and I'll be like "I want to spend 77 euros". It's more like she'll look at what she thinks she can get away with, then target beyond that to cause a deliberate fight.
Even if we have everything, she'll want to buy everything + 1. We have salmon, so we need nuts. We have nuts, so we need alcohol. We have alcohol, so we need to go shopping to see what we need.
It's been the pattern over and over that we fight about what we have and what we need, no matter how much money I give her or how much stuff we buy.
We're literally at the "fighting over the just for men and beard lotion" stage of our relationship I guess. It's getting tedious for me.
Well classic negotiation tactic would be to start low then. Tell her they cut hours at the factory and all you can afford is bread and water, so if you end up with bread and water plus a package of salmon then no biggie, you planned for it to start with.
Alternative: tell her you want to get a face tat on the way to the store so you can fight about that and she can get it out of her system before shopping -
