The 'moderate rebels' have been known to use crudely synthed mustard gas and industrially-manufactured chlorine gas as weapons. Amusingly enough the last time the Al-Zinki movement got caught firing mortar rounds loaded with chlorine, the US' response to taking them off the 'moderated' list was 'just because they do it once doesn't necessarily make them terrorists'.

Nerve agents work by overloading acetylcholese in muscle control centres, causing them to spasm, then quickly stop responding altogether. Death usually comes as the muscles controlling the lungs relax and can no longer pump air. I'm not an expert by any means, but death is usually by suffocation and usually occurs within five minutes or so.

Something obvious though - compare the plumes the media has been pushing as 'evidence of sarin' to the billowing clouds in this video:

Thought you would find this interesting. The question was about how the Arab Coalition assessed the nuclear threat from Israel during the Yom Kippur War:

    https://www.reddit.com/r/WarCollege/comments/5zkwa3/how_did_the_arab_coalition_evaluate_the_nuclear/dezydxp/

That is pretty interesting, and is linked to some other things I intend to post about:

    1. Anti-air missiles, even shitty old Soviet gear from the 60s, are enough to repel an aerial attack, assuming they're used sensibly and in sufficient numbers. Check out the number of US warplanes lost in the Vietnam War.

    2. The entire reason Syria HAD chemical weapons in the first place was that Hafez Al-Assad (Assad's father) stockpiled them as a deterrent to match Israel's nuclear weapons. There have been many times since the 70s where nerve agents would've resolved battles quickly and cleanly, specifically times where the Muslim Brotherhood took entire towns, but Syrian battle doctrine does not allow them to be used against conventional threats.

Read my post a little ways up the page. It's not sarin.

IS: Considering the Russian S300-S400 systems brought down roughly half of the missiles directed at the base, is it possible theywere able to calculate trajectories and intentionally target the ones that were meant to hit the runway?

Doubt it. US ships in the Mediterranean are about 150km from Homs. Tomahawks fly at ~900km/h. This means flight time would be about 10 minutes. I highly doubt unless they have foreknowledge of the attack and targeting spread that they could calculate the trajectory and target only those missiles aimed at specific sites they want to protect. These are cruise missiles so the ballistics are insanely hard to predict, specially when the whole barrage is aimed at one general area. If it was an ICBM attack, it would be a different story.

I was thinking the same, trying to work out why they would've left the runway intact.

I'm now seeing that there were no reported firings of the S-300/S-400 systems at all, and that the missiles downed were likely a result of Russian ECMs - unlikely to be faulty missiles because all of the plates found in debris are marked 2014/2015 manufacture...
  7. Perhaps the runway might serve a tactical purpose in case the US decides to put boots on the ground? We start senseless wars but we certainly don't start them senselessly.
  8. Nah, they left the runway in tact so they can gas the Syrians again and then blame it on the same air base

lol, Al-Qaeda/Al Nusra Front have now rebranded themselves to Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS)

PS. I'm still writing that thread on the gas attack -> missile attack, keeps getting too long and I need to cut it down though

They should highlight targets by shoving an IR strobe up their ass.

...what if Trump has lost control, he didn't order the strike and warning Russia ahead of time was his last ditch attempt at avoiding a catastrophe? He couldn't come out and say he no longer had control of the military for fear of civil war.

there wont be any civil wars. americans have seen how syrians, with their freedom to bear bigger, longer, heavier and deadlier arms have all hardly being able to defend themselves against a tyranic regime ..... much less overthrow it.

americans are faggier, their weapons are impotent,

ok .... wikipedia stole my notes so :

The University of Pristina was the starting point of the 1981 Kosovo student protests. Kosovo's cultural isolation within Yugoslavia and its endemic poverty resulted in the province having the highest rati

The demonstrations started on 11 March 1981, originally as a spontaneous small-scale protest for better food in the school cafeteria and improved living conditions in the dormitories. Tired of being made to wait in line, for hours, for poor quality food, students began demonstrating.[2] T

i think theres no more brazen examples of ''hungry stomick causes molotove evrrything'' than this.

but then i could be wrong becos this is HIStory ..... maybe this is not how it went down,

maybe you have alternative story .... now lets hear YOURstory.
