yes...which is based on a fixed standard of measure, ie, the harvest during that time frame. the validity of the price change is justifiable due to a variable harvest potential.
gasoline price is literally based on nothing but excuses and false logic. oil is extracted at a previously determined rate, then refined/processed at a fixed, known, rate. oil is imported at a fixed known rate. oil on tankers is enroute for weeks. there is no reason that gasoline prices should be adjusted daily...much less multiple times a day. (uber simplified explanation) -

too much of the market is fresh fish. if they freeze it for storage it is no longer viable as 'fresh.' most restaurant purchasers have the ability to detect the difference between fresh and previously frozen. -
