Yemen - The attack on Hodeida has failed and the forces participating are disintegrating. The Yemeni forces have been stepping up attacks on facilities in the south of KSA using Iranian Qasef-type drones.

Is wal mart taking advantage of a fat mother and her fat son?

Let's say your mother makes icing sugar from your tears. She sells the icing sugar to some Chinese people who refine it and sell it to wal mart. She makes 100k from this but since were not counting value added services from countries it doesn't count.

    What's your bmi?

you poor, Bill Krozby-tarded bastard. you havent the slightest clue how economics works...much less the basis for monetary exchange units.

that gay-ass walmart example is irrelevant considering it is a consumer/retailer relationship. walmart supplied products in exchange for money. there are multiple variables missing from the equation, most glaring of which is the origin of the 90k and the means for acquiring those funds.

'value added services.' you are literally pulling a Bill Krozby and making up words. the part of that example that slightly made sense was an example of a producer creating a product then selling it for money.

now back to reality, if the billybob had an income (i wont use big old words like GDP or GNP that will make your head explode. youre welcome) of $100, then bought a cell phone for $110 from sum-phat-ho, he would have had to acquire the additional $10 as either a loan from a third party which would have to be paid back in the future. next payday billbob has an income of $100, then has to repay the $10 deficit from his original phone purchase, leaving him with $90. his phone is now past its expiration date so he needs to buy a new one, which is $100...but he only has $90.

see where that is going? that is how trade deficits work.

youre getting no replies until youve answered the question on how youre going to buy something that costs more than you have funds to pay for.

on topic it's interesting how btfo the saudis are getting, i think russia and iran may have the edge in this cold war. their allies are winning and/or gaining influence in syria, yemen, iraq, arguably ukraine, barring boots on the ground american intervention in any of these conflicts, which would be next level retarded. if america and europe continue tearing themselves apart and saudi arabia keeps getting embarrassed in yemen it begs the question what the fuck is israel going to do.

    http://thesaker.is/europe-as-the-main-front-of-the-hybrid-war/

I read this article last night and although I don't agree with everything it puts forward, I think it's right about the core concept - much of this new 'cold war' is about the East getting direct and unfettered access to the European (EU specifically) market. It seems to ignore the fact that a large chunk of the purpose of the Chinese BRI integrations is to open, improve and exploit the devloping/emerging Eurasian markets, but it's true that trade links to the EU is where the big money (currently) is.

Basically it posits that the main conflict at the moment is between the East and West over market share in the EU. China and Russia need them as a trading partner, the US wants them as a vassal but loses little if the bloc is disintegrated.

The EU was never a 'partner' - the US seeks primarily to maintain economic control over the market; if that fails they'll help unravel the EU (or more accurately given the state of affairs, they'll simply let it fail) so that China and Russia cannot benefit from it. This seems to directly correlate with US/NATO policy in the region.

Not sure about that one - they don't need to 'close' the strait, really, they just need to make it unsafe enough that nobody will insure ships passing through it. For that they have sea mines which can be deployed by submarines, speedboats with anti-ship missiles, camouflaged and/or mobile coastal batteries... regardless it'd rapidly escalate to a wider war so keeping the strait open or closed would be the least of either side's problems, and regardless of the outcome, israel would most certainly get an extreme renovation. Between the significant threat to israel and the massive losses from a ground campaign, it makes me wonder what the US actually would commit to opening the strait if it comes down to it.

A week, let alone a month of the shipping lanes being closed for business would twist the oil economy's cock off anyway.

Also, is erdogans full blown dictatorship going to stifle chances for Kurdish autonomy?

Is Turkey accepting so many refugees and making them live in the Kurdish south east an attempt to gentrify the Kurdish population and when the inevitable terrorist attack happens, use it as a pretext for bulldozing bombing and barricading the Kurdish towns? What the fuck are the PKK and YPG going to do now that Assad is definitely staying in power? The Syrians have lost all leverage and the Iraqis have made like 0 gains recently. If the Syrian Kurds are granted autonomy and can make the northern border more porous than Turkey wants, it could result in the refugees returning to Syria like jedis on a birthright pilgrimage. If erdogan cracks down authoritarian style like he probably Will, it's just going to exacerbate the restive underclass. I really can't see him doing anything to legitimize them. He literally wanted Isis to take kobani. The Kurds were supposed to be the beacon of freedom and they turned into an ineffectual self defense group, lucky they had so many allies.

Are you talking about the US/SDF enclave in Syria? The SAA have announced that their next goal is to crush the rebels in Idlib, ideally pushing Turkey out in the process. I suspect that Russia will use political clout to have Turkey withdraw, specifically weapons contracts and accession into BRICS which Erdogan is currently eyeing. Regardless of whether Turkey withdraws or the SAA comes into conflict with their forces, we can expect battles between Turkish forces and proxies and the Kurds to wind down rapidly. Once Idlib's brought under control the SAA's next target will be the SDF in the northeast, but that will need to be handled very carefully so I have no idea how that will progress.

He doesn't need the pretext, it's been happening on and off for a long time. Have a look at what they did to Cizre last year. I suspect it's more to do with just funneling refugees into existing ghettos so the state doesn't have to worry much about them.

The Syrians have all the leverage; virtually the only parts they of the country they no longer control are Idlib, Al-Tanf, an ISIS pocket south of DEZ and the northeast. Al-Tanf serves no practical purpose to the US and they're likely to 'declare victory and leave' both there and north of the Euphrates eventually because there's zero prospect of SDF territories expanding past their current borders. The locals hate the SDF - the majority of the areas claimed aren't even majority Kurd, they're treated brutally and forced into military service and they understand that Turkey would not tolerate a breakaway Kurdish state.

The majority of *actual* refugees from Syria were internally displaced; the bulk of those that fled the country are rebels and their families. Assad has declared amnesty for any rebels who haven't been personally identified as committing atrocities like executing prisoners or civilians - pending security screening the Syrian government wants refugees to return and reintegrate.

The Kurds are largely foreign fighters, just like the rebels. Last time I checked (a year or so ago) around 80% of the 'SDF' in Syria were existing YPG (same organisation as PKK) fighters, Erdogan's least favourite Kurds.

Erdogan doesn't really care about ISIS - as far as I know Turkey didn't directly support them but had no interest in stopping them either. Remember that in 2016 Turkey, specifically a shipping company run by Erdogan's son, was responsible for buying and reselling the bulk of the oil ISIS was pulling out of the wells they controlled near Raqqa and Palmyra.

I was surprised tbh, especially since research shows that all women are essentially bisexual

In fairness to them though anal sex sucks, and fucking an asshole is nothing compared to fucking an aroused vagina.

trust me when i say that that research is going to find that almost 98% of all men are pedo.

most men would get aroused if shown videos of 4year olds engaged in sexually provocative activities while naked.

Thinking about this a bit more, I'd doubt the US will leave the northeastern region any time soon unless the 'SDF' comes to an agreement with the Syrian government and lays down their arms. True, they've failed in their major objectives and a small partition in the northeast does nothing to reverse this:

    1. Disrupt plans for Iran > Iraq > Syria > Turkey > EU pipeline, enforce KSA > Israel > Syria > Turkey > EU pipeline
    2. Destroy key Iranian ally
    3. Close 'Highway to Tehran' supplying Syria and Lebanon (Hezbullah)

but maintaining the area as a military outpost would act as an early warning system for the inevitable upcoming Iran-Israel war. The key to get them out would have to be an agreement between Syria and the Kurds, possibly involving Turkey. If the Kurds return the land to the SAA then the US/SDF installations there would have to be abandoned.
