Uncle Don is in many ways just a figurehead - do you really think the people with real economic power would let him make such huge policy changes on impulse? It's usually safe to assume that policy with such far-reaching implications (some economists are claiming this trade war is likely to go on in various forms for the next 50 years) is endorsed by more than just the official government.

    i honestly dont know.

are you saying that this trade war is going to transpire had hillary been elected as well ???

I believe that Hillary would've entered into an actual war almost immediately had she been elected, but failing that - yes, both China's development plans and the US' plans to 'contain' Chinese economic power have both been in the public domain for some time. They were bound to collide at some point, regardless of who is ostensibly in charge.

    i doubt that.

had hillary been elected, none of this trade war would take place. kim would never been met.

there would never been a fire and fury speech in the UN, and NATO,

lol. nato would go on as usual.

i trully believe american president has more power that what you think.

The 'FSA' has collapsed in Daraa, and ISIS (specifically the Khalid ibn al-Walid army) is now essentially taking over their positions. The RUAF in some circumstances have actually run airstrikes against ISIS to protect FSA units to encourage them to surrender to the SAA but for the most part, they've been surrendering their weapons caches to ISIS and leaving the contested areas.

Israel's been busy attacking SAA positions in Quneitra, accusing the SAA of launching a drone that strayed into Israeli airspace. The FSA managed to intercept some but not all of the missiles, and I haven't seen any casualty reports yet.

There's chatter from both SAA and Hezbullah sources of a big operation starting soon (even Nasrallah alluded to it in his latest speech), but no solid information. It could be political, as it's been reported that the SAA recovered a lot of information related to foreign funding and support for 'rebel' groups in the parts of Daraa they've managed to reclaim so far.

Why do you think politicians that stay consistent for years get elected president and suddenly reverse their policies?

Because they don't get to decide what happens. They're just puppets. Its like this in every western country, and probably most eastern countries too

That's what I try to tell you every time you tell an American or other westerner on here to be thankful for democracy

    NUDOL and TRIADA

These two weapons systems were covered under Putin's march announcement but not described or explained - they're apparently still fairly secret, but a Russian general (Borisov) spoke about them in a press briefing (link, Russian).

The short version is Russia is now standardizing anti-satellite weapons in their regular military, not just special units. NUDOL is an anti-satellite missile platform (rumour is once it's completed it will be integrated into the upcoming S-500 SAM) and TRIADA is an advanced EW/jamming system that specifically targets satellite communications (GPS, satphone etc).

Iran is now threatening to close the Strait of Hormuz if the US applies sanctions to countries buying Iranian exports (mostly oil and gas), their reasoning being that if Iran is unilaterally excluded from the market, then all middle-eastern energy will be.

This has always been considered a very extreme last measure as closing the strait would essentially halt a large percentage of the world's energy supply and would be guaranteed to trigger a war - given Iran's diplomatic patterns over the last few years, it seems unlikely that this is an idle threat.

well the good news is if world war actually breaks out, US's trade deficit would be greatly reduced.
  11. Anyone who knows anything about economics agrees that trade decicits don't really mean shit. Especially in the US case I have no idea how people got so brainwashed into thinking it was somehow "unfair" or if it's just feigning outrage because other people are other people. So fucking dumb and gay

continuously validating my position that youre a fucking full-tarded faggot.

    its simple math.

go to the grocery store and try to buy things that cost more than what you have in your bank account and let me know how that works out for you.

the only way iran could successfully close the straights is with russian assistance. they do not possess the warfighting capability to close the straights for more than a month...and that is their best-case scenario. if us intel has as good tabs on their mining ships/aircraft and splashed them before they get into shipping lanes their land-based capacity to shut down the straights is two weeks before theyre TLAM'd into 10,000 BC

wallstreet, stock and currency markets worldwide, everything that can and are being speculated,

    their all swayed by theatrics.

perception matters more than real fundamentals.

higher than you can count, unterbottom

go ahead and answer the question instead of trying to divert away from how utterly and completely fucking Bill Krozby-tarded you and your defective thoughts processes are.

since your mental capacity blanks-out after a few seconds ill provide a reminder:

what would happen if you went into a retail establishment and attempted to purchase an item that had a price higher than the amount of currency you had available to you:

    go...

exactly. which is why gasoline prices are fucking absurd. no other item has the prices set to change on a moments notice the way gasoline is.

the fuel speculators literally make shit up as excuses to boost fuel prices.
