To an extent. But in the states, families act all warm and cuddly in front of others, but behind closed doors they have no care for each other. The states is all arrogant dog-eat-dog mentality wrapped in a mask of love and care. -

Originally posted by Dargo Since you seem to be talking about yourself again, why don't you tell us how it's affected you?
Well, there are certain things I won't talk about, but I'm not really sure how it's affected me. I think two things stick out for sure though. One is positive for me(in a way) and negative for anyone that falls prey to me, and the other is negative for me and is only positive for those that don't like me and wish me harm.
I know that I am able to do things that I always said I wouldn't do. I always thought that shoplifting was okay because it was stealing from large companies that can afford it, but stealing from an individual was bad because it would likely affect them, but now I can do whatever I want to people because I can't imagine if they were someone I know(due to not knowing anyone). On this level, I do feel free, like I am able to do whatever is needed to survive and even thrive. But this is slowly evolving as time goes by.
I know that I have no way to vent my emotions positively. They go in circles in my head unless I choose to vent them onto the world in some negative way(which is only occasionally and at first I didn't know why I was doing some of the things but since then I have realized and been able to control it. Although I should just let it flow as that would be healthier). I've learned that exercise does not vent negative emotions and stress, but it does make me feel better. Feeling better by exercising and other forms of self-improvement only delay/mask stress and emotions.
That's all for now. -
2017-11-15 at 5:01 AM UTC in No, I'm serious, how do I meet more women. There's this thing called the Ladder Theory...
http://www.laddertheory.com/foundations.htm
You'll need money and power most of all. But even then, females like guys that have connections, I guess that's part of power(maybe). If you have no connections(no family, no friends) then females really won't like you at all even if you have money. Look at Elliot Rodger, he had money and looks but didn't seem to have any real friends and obviously, his family didn't like him, so girls were repulsed.
If guys don't like hanging out with you and you're not invited to their parties(like me) then females will not even acknowledge you. I know this from personal experience. Females like to be part of the group, the in-crowd, the inner-circle(that almost everyone is in), and like to go to everyone's parties/get-togethers. Being a reject/excluded leaves you no chance.
Although I don't think you're this far down. I'm sure you have some friends and family and probably see family on the holidays and whatnot. You should try to link to other crowds/circles through your connections and see who you meet. -

Must be, but 8-9 years. This stuff happened back in 2009-2010. That's like back when I was unemployed for a long time. Looking into it, it looks like the statute of limitations has passed on the charges that I was under investigation for back then. Poor Scott Jensen...

2017-11-14 at 6:40 PM UTC in Psychological Effects Of Social IsolationWhat are the effects of social isolation on a middle aged person? I tried doing a Google search but could only find info on social isolation on elderly people. I'm referring to people that live within society, but have no close relationships with other people. So the person can see others with relationships but knows that he/she has been rejected.
Not just for a short time. I'm talking about for decades, or a whole life. Like a person that has no family, no fiends, no one to talk to about their problems, for decades. Not just someone that doesn't have any social connections for like a few months.
I always hear people say shit like "I'm lonely." but they have family and friends, so they can't be that lonely. And if they don't, it's only for a really shot time period, like a few months.
The quality of life life is obviously going to be reduced, but what would be the psychological effect of going 10+ years and not haing any real relationships at all what-so-ever? -

2017-11-12 at 9:20 PM UTC in I'm going to eat at Denny's by myself.
Originally posted by mmQ I was thinking it would be a good "scam" if you genuinely told them you had 8 GOOD FRIENDS on their way, and then kept ordering waters for a while, becoming increasingly visibly forlorn as time went on, then wipe away years after 45 minutes or so and decide "what the hell I'm here anyway guess I'll order something nice for myself".. then order whatever Denny's best shit is, continue weeping during your entire meal, and hopefully it all amounts to a sympathy on-the-house meal.
Or leave without paying... -
