2017-02-20 at 10:56 PM UTC in Recommend me a keyboard/mouse combo for my Raspberry Pi.I not only bought a switch for my rPi so that I could share my primary keyboard with it, but I also just usually ssh in. I did pick up one like this small keyboard that works okay but the special characters always piss me off.

2017-02-20 at 10:44 PM UTC in Mechanical keyboardsAll I have to contribute to this thread is that when my keyboard starts going bad, I go buy the exact same one, bring it home, take it out of the box, put the old one back in, and return for the store for a full refund.
I even upgraded once by cutting into the cardboard fitting. Same thing with my mouses. -
2017-02-20 at 3:02 AM UTC in The Specified Service Does Not Exist???Honestly I don't even dual boot a version of Windows anymore. I keep a VM just for required software(specifically rooting software) but I'm trying to move away from that.
IMO, Windows is more for office environments and I guess gamers and of course idiots.
The sooner you learn how to use Linux, the better. -

2017-02-18 at 8:45 AM UTC in How do you normally dress?Where I live it rains a lot, so I usually wear jeans with either a jacket, sweatshrit, coat, either NorthFace brand or Columbia brand, and bulky warm waterproof skater-type shoes. Summer time is usually cargo shorts with a t-shirt and sandals, or hiking shoes if I'm going into the woods.

2017-02-18 at 8:34 AM UTC in Had you ever quit a job on the spot/walked off?
Originally posted by Bill Krozby hell yeah plenty of times but I haven't done it in a while. A couple summers ago i was working at "hey cupcake" doing prep stuff, everyone in the kitchen came in before me like at 3am and got out at noon when and i came in at nine am. I came in and some fat cunt that worked there was bitching about how I wasn't cleaning stuff well enough and so I told her I was going on break, went and got some brews, and I was supposed to clean like 50 million billion cup cake trays, I waited tell they left then, I just walked out and went and got laid.
The owner (a huge faggot) called me the next day screaming at me telling me how they lost there shipment because of the trays not being washed and that I was fired and he was going to sue me for damages. I told him "sounds like a personal problem…"
before xmas I got a job at papa johns like on the spot and when I was filling out the paper work some fat faggot came in and he looked like "chumley" from pawn shop wars or whatever that show is, just a total fat derpadew and I was like "hey whats up bud" and extended my hand and he looked at me like i was an idiot despite him being over 300lbs and have pink hair and a man bun. The manager after I filled out the paper work told me I needed to shave and I had just shaved like a week before and because of the cold weather my skin was all chapped it wasn't even long, but she said i could have a goatee… (fuck that I'm not a redneck) so the next day she called me and asked me why i wasn't in and i told her I wasn't going to shave my beard and work with an overweight guy with pink hair and she said okay you don't need to shave your beard, and I said yeah im just not going to come in
Doesn't it itch though? -
2017-02-18 at 8:31 AM UTC in Had you ever quit a job on the spot/walked off?ONE time I quit like that because my supervisor told me that the manager wanted to talk to me in the office and that he was going to fire me for taking excessive breaks(which I did daily because I smoked back then). Usually I successfully make them fire me so I can collect unemployment. One time I turned in my two weeks notice after working at a new job for only two weeks, but did it because I found a job that paid 50% more.

2017-02-18 at 8:24 AM UTC in Linux Kernel 4.4.0(Generic) Privilege Escalation exploits.I've never ran any exploits but it looks interesting. I never even knew exploits were what's been rooting my Android phones all these years. Definitely something I'm going to get into.

2017-02-02 at 8:36 PM UTC in Bug Bounties for Cuckbook.
Originally posted by Lanny Sure, why not. I'll pay $2.56 USD for any exploitable security bug found, which means it has to pertain to security (so no bounty for UI bugs or feature suggestions) and you have to prove it can actually be used as opposed to a hypothesized issue or something that would take like NSA levels of resources to pull off.
As mentioned, chasing bug bounties on average is not terribly profitable and in this case less so than most but if you do find something consider it a token of thanks rather than a payment for services rendered.
So this is permission to test the sites security, right?
I sure could use that $2.56.
