- the waste management companies bill the local municipalities with the claims they have to recycle materials and it costs them more. it is a lie. originally they sent the 'recyclables' mixed with other hazmat in massive barge convoys to china but when china decided they didnt want to be nice to the US anymore they refused to accept any more trash
- the only trash that is recyclable at any modicum of value is cardboard and a very small, select type of plastics.
