Some probably do, I guess. I doubt a lot of people, but some have to I guess. I think many guys worry they would, which is why so many of them choose to use firearms - they want to be dead before they have time to regret it. There are plenty of ways to ensure you die, but not quite so many that do it faster than you can think "wait, fuck, I don't wanna die". I sometimes wonder if Malice had a thought like that as he began to lose consciousness. I... hope not. I doubt he did.
I don't know what method your cousin chose or what his state of mind was when he did it, but he probably didn't regret it. Either you plan it out to avoid regrets, or you're too fucking bitter and fucked up when you pull the trigger/kick the stool (or whatever) to feel them.

If this community (think: &T, Zoklet, RDFRN, IntoSanctuary, etc) is good for anything, I think it's probably that we're good for disabusing people of their pieties. No. Antinatalism is kind of like communism: it's a good philosophy for some undetermined point in the distant future. A lofty goal to one day aspire to. As I've explained before, antinatalism ignores the vast majority of suffering in the world by limiting the scope of our concerns to "new humans". If humans all stopped having children today and our species died out in 100 years, suffering would not be eliminated. The cycle of creating new life only for it to suffer would not end. Humanity has a moral obligation to serve as the Annihilator - to end all life - before we're free to retire. At the very least we need a Deathwatch Vanguard to continue breeding until all life is ended.
