I finished inpatient treatment at Hazelden Betty Ford's most renowned recovery center, which is arguabky the best in the world.
I was part of the most cohesive unit on campus, and was chosen by my counselor to be the senior peer leader of the group, AKA "Sheriff".
I'm going to start day treatment in a major city, and am going to live in a sober house that I'm moving into tomorrow.
This past month changed my life. I let go of all fear and resentments. I choose not to feel unhelpful feelings. I live in this moment, which is the only moment, and I am at peace.
I no longer resign to thinking my life is going to be somewhere between mediocre and terrible. I'm gonna go live a swell life.
I love each and every one of you. Please message me if are struggling with life.
I'm not spending my life posting on this forum. It is as or more addictive than any other drug, and is more damning to one's personal life than may be realized.
I'm done being retarded online. I'd be happy (I think) to talk to any of you on the phone if you'd like. Again, I appreciate any private messages, even if it's just to say hi. I wish you all the best of luck.
