The so-called safes these days are as cheap as a tin can. It's just one outer skin of 3/8th-inch cheap steal, then another 2 or 3 inches of concrete, maybe 5 or 6 on some models, and then another thin layer of 3/8th-inch cheap steel. With a simple chisel and hand sledge and hammer, one can be opened in under an hour. If you're going to buy a safe worth anything, you have to spend a good deal of money for the best ones.

Most people are stupid and put motion detectors everywhere but where it matters. They'll put detectors on the doors, windows, hallways, but they don't put any where the actual valuables are, so the thief simply cuts a hole in the roof or wall and drops straight in to the room with the goods and grabs the loot without even being detected.

The House of Representatives on Wednesday voted to set aside a resolution by Rep. Al Green, D-Texas, to introduce article of impeachment against President Trump – the third time the Houston-area lawmaker has taken a shot at impeaching the president, but the first since Democrats regained control of the House.
Lawmakers voted 332-95 to table Green’s resolution, which was widely opposed by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., and other top Democrats worried that the measure would force vulnerable swing-district lawmakers into peril ahead of the 2020 elections. The bipartisan vote shelved any chance of bringing forth articles of impeachment against Trump in the near future.

I think he could have used it, but he didn't want to tip off the world that he had it. He wanted to perfect it first, make sure it would have the most guaranteed and most widespread destructive capability before unleashing it. Once you use it, everyone knows you have it, so you have to make the first one count. He simply ran out of time.
