I have been reading into the semiconductor shortage. Apparently for the biggest demand items like RTX30XX cards and game consoles, the production is actually at the highest level in history. It's just not able to keep up with demand. So what that tells me is that the economy has actually been insanely well recently. Sales growth on these items is heavily supply limited. I wonder if it's just silicon prices or wtf is gonna have to happen for chip prices to come back down.
I had a 3070 i just sold for barely above msrp. I wouldve given it to u for the $599 i got it for or whatever. I was obsessed about getting a gpu for cyberpunk (lol) so i was in the discords getting automated text alerts like 30x a day. Ended up getting a 3080 soi got rid of the 3070s -
