There is no situation in which serving evil is the better choice, sorry. I have more respect for ISIS than I do for an American soldier. At least the jihadists are defending their homeland and fighting for something they believe in. American soldiers fight for what, patriotism? Benefits that the government should've been providing anyway (like healthcare and an education)?
Nah. You can get those things without the military. Most people do. It's not anybody's 'best chance' at anything unless you manage to get yourself on the record as mentally or physically disabled. Then it's pretty chill. You can just hang out in your wheelchair, talk to your shadow people, and sit back and have a beer. Fuck yeah.
