I've bought a fuck ton of games on Steam though. I typically only buy games on sale as I don't care about playing the newest ones. Most recently got Assassins Creed Origins for $25 with the DLC. Had a 15 dollar gift card from all the MS rewards stuff they've done during COVID. So far I'm about 85 hours deep and I'm probably going to try and 100% the game because I'm in love with it. Controls are tight, combat is slick, and ancient Egypt is a gorgeous setting.

Your only options are to use their card (needs SSN) or bank account (needs SSN). Your bank account, SURPRISE, also has your SSN. You can also get a check mailed to you, which you will need to provide an SSN for.
If at any point you provide your SSN this can be traced back to you, SpectraL.
The only other option is to pay for something using Paypal, but after a certain amount they will ask for your SSN or close the account. Paypal is not stupid. They know all the scams people try to run. -
