It's because I've seen some dogs really suffer. Bulldogs who cant run or play. Dogs who cant see because their idiot owners think long hair with shit knots in their ass is stylish. Dogs with cropped ears and tails being attacked for no reason by dogs who mistake the cropped dog's inability to communicate for aggression.
These are animals not just little trophies. Imagine if someone bred you to look a certain way but you hacked up balls of phlegm everytime you went up the stairs and sometimes have to lay down and gasp for air. Oxygen deprivation literally makes you retarded too. Its part of the reason short nose breeds are all considered kinda dumb compared to like doodles or retrievers -

I've told you before I've been around a lot of dogs. I've seen a lot of suffering. Short faced dogs end up tired, out of breath, wheezing, and unable to play. My dog is actually like that too. But the difference is he's having this issue due to old age at 14, not his whole life.
Also dogs like that are also socially fucked if you want to bring them around other dogs, like every happy dog should be.

I heard my bull terrior (pitbull) which was a Stafordshire and American Pit mixed. he was a bluenose and always sounded like he had to shoot a snot out of his nostrils. but he also did that while I laugh. and I was laughing hard af at how much he shat
