I didn't say there was. I said that no matter how long it exists for, it won't be eternal, it will be a finite amount of time. I'm not saying it absolutely needs to have some forward "end". Just that eventually it will reach a state where there will be no difference between all its states, thermodynamic equilibrium. And at that point it will be meaningless to say it continues.if the universe is infinite and if i kick your ass so haard that your launched into space at the speed of light your going to be travel in the direction your kicked for an eternity.
I'd travel for a very, very long time for sure. But not an eternity. -

No because if it starts to exist, whatever amount of time it has existed is finite, just growing larger. To be eternal eternal it needs to have no beginning, and the present moment is "our end" before it transitions to the next, which may have no real end. -
