You think our labor laws are good? No paid time off, maternity/paternity leave not paid, wages at below the poverty level so some 37% of Americans have to work a second job, actual overtime (as in not weekly over 36-40 but working more than 8h in a shift) doesn't even exist.
I mean we're not China, but our labor laws are significantly lacking when compared to other first world countries. It's an absolute joke. Americans work more hours than most everybody but eastern Asians.
Even in places like Norway where literally everybody who has a normal 40h a week job makes enough to live comfortably, they have unions. Some 1/5th of the nation is in one. It's important to have advocacy in the work place. And if the politicians won't do it for you, somebody has to. Everybody should be in a union. -

Never seen that but I'll keep an eye out. How much is it? Any specific one I should get? I've tried the black label Evan's or something and it was not that good.
Black velvet is shit honestly. If I'm going for cheap I just get a 12 dollar handle of vodka and apologize to my GI tract in advance. It usually dissuades me from getting drunk in the first place. -

It's still a government. But the people own the industries. Like in Norway, they have one of the biggest oil companies in the world and the people all get a stake in that.
