Same with my Caprice. It technically takes premium because it's too old to process the ethanol, but if the 37 year old gas gauge says its' getting low I'm putting 87 in to get me to the proper gas. And that's only because carbs legit won't work right with the wrong type of gas and the ethanol will make the float stick. -

This is the reason. The constant heat cool cycles, damage from sitting in the sun, and potential fatal design flaws that had since been fixed.
Also, if anyone is curious: There's no actual law saying you can't use an expired car seat per-say. -

Make sure you put them in the back, not the front, otherwise you risk your ass end sliding out which is more dangerous than just not having good traction.
