Most people are generally good
I do deserve those feelings. I have done enough wrong to deserve worse. Shame, regret, and guilt keep people in check. Would you give this advice to someone who raped your daughter? Someone who killed your family? Should people really forgive themselves for their transgressions? happens to me all the time, I won my diversity award at heb (thats a grocery store for ya yanks) when i was 16 for helping an old lady cross the street, they asked me where I had been and I told them I took this old ladies groceries across the st and loaded them on the bus.
