a bag of them tiny taters
2 onions
mixed carrots (meaning different colored carrots, standard, yellow, purple etc.
2lb stewing beef
1lb (I think) of sliced mushrooms
1/2 bottle of Merlot (Winking Owl cheapo brand from Aldi, $3.xx a bottle)
2 cups thereabouts of beef broth
garlic, about 3 or 5 cloves.
salt, pepper, oregano, and then some prepared Carne Asada seasoning.
ETA: 1 can of stewed tomatoes including the liquid.
marinate the beef in the wine and carne asada seasoning overnight.
Wash and slap all the veggies in the slow cooker.
pour in the beef with the marinade.
add the 2 cups (Thereabouts) of beef broth
add the salt pepper and oregano, garlic (and any other of your favorite seasoning).
Slow cook for 8 of your earth hours or till the taters are soft.
Serve with some heavily buttered crusty bread.

We always went ahead of carrier groups to screen for subs. The reason for the LA class subs was to keep up with the carriers because older ones where not fast enough.
