2023-05-20 at 10:46 PM UTC in Before mirrors were invented, did folks spend a lot of time gazing at the reflection in the water? The intentions of this ritual are invasive and morally gray. Through it, you will be able to read the mind of any living person you'd like. Before performing it, think whether or not you want to risk your sanity for a chance to see into the mind of your friends, or your current crush. I recommend against it, but it’s not my place to tell you what to do.
You will need the following materials:
One mirror, roughly the size of a dinner plate. Nothing larger. This will be used as a barrier between our world and the demon world.
A water source which can quickly be drained(ex. sink, tub, bucket). It must be able to hold the mirror.
Something from the person whose mind you are trying to read(ex. hair, clothes, pen). Anything that holds a bond with the person.
Candle and matches. The candle must be tallow or the ritual won’t work.
A knife or other sharp object.
A few drops of blood.
You must perform the ritual at a time when target’s mind is at rest, so it is best to do it between midnight and five in the morning. Gather your materials in a room without windows(or cover the windows) and turn the lights off. Now the ritual can begin.
Fill your water source. If it is a bathtub, fill it just enough to cover the mirror as you may need to drain it quickly if things turn sour. Same thing for a sink. The ritual is probably safest with a bucket.
Light the candle and set it within arms reach.
Most people will be trepidant in performing the next step, as it goes against everything we were ever taught. Unless your mother taught you it's okay to summon a demon. You must wash your hands in the water and repeat the following word for word: “I [Name] do hereby summon you Thizhalu, lord of waters, and bind you to my will.” Do not deviate from the phrase.
Next, drop your target’s belonging into the water. Be sure to put it over the mirror.
Prick your finger with the knife or other sharp object. There must be a steady stream of blood(no papercuts). Dip your finger into the water, just above the mirror, and stir. The water should turn a slight shade of pink.
You do not want to see the face of the demon in the mirror, this is why the final step exists. The final ingredient is fire, so you must drop your candle into the water.
If performed correctly, you will hear the water bubble. A voice will come to your mind, and it will say one of two things. “I am here to serve,” will be the one you want to hear. Then you must ask it three questions about your target. Whatever you want. “Does so-and-so like me?” Whatever kids are wondering these days. Do not ask it any more than three, nor any less. Once the questions three have been asked, leave the room. Go to sleep, and you will have a very vivid dream where your target reveals the answers to your questions. When you wake up, repeat the words: “I [Name] release you, Thizhalu, from my service.” The ritual is over.
If performed incorrectly, a voice will not come to your mind, but rather it will burst from the waters, most likely resulting in the soiling of one’s pants. A red glow will come from the water, emanating from the mirror. Do not look into it or you will see him. The water will begin to boil after some time, so it’s best to act quickly. You must drain your container, whether it be tub or bucket. This is why I recommend the bucket, because you can simply tip it, whereas a tub you must reach your hand into the water and unplug it. Once you drain the water, leave the room and do not enter it again for seven hours. Your words of binding will be null after seven hours. Then the ritual will be over.
Other warnings: Never attempt the ritual on a dead person. You will not get answers to questions you ask them. There will be some who try. “Why didn’t your money to me?” Stuff like that. DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS! The ritual will work fine up until the end. You will not receive dreams of them answering your questions, you will have nightmares, dreadful nightmares. I’ve heard one person claim he saw the very pits of hell. -
2023-05-20 at 2:34 PM UTC in Kia and Hyundai to pay compensation in US for making cars that are too easy to steal
Hyundai and Kia will pay out $200 million in a class-action lawsuit settlement, compensating roughly 9 million people for their losses after a 2022 social media trend revealed how relatively simple it was to steal certain models. From a report:
https://tech.slashdot.org/story/23/05/19/1934229/kia-and-hyundai-agree-to-200-million-settlement-for-making-cars-viral-theft-targets
As reported by Reuters, $145 million of the payout goes to the out-of-pocket expenses of those whose cars were stolen. Many Kias made between 2011-2021, and Hyundais from 2015-2021, lacked electronic engine immobilizers, which would prevent a car from starting unless an electronically matched key was present. Without the immobilizer, the car could be started by turning the ignition with other objects, such as a USB-A cable that thieves discovered was a perfect fit.
Customers whose cars were totaled are eligible for up to $6,125, while damaged vehicles and property can receive a maximum of $3,375, along with costs for raised insurance, car rental, towing, tickets, and others. Kia and Hyundai had previously pledged to provide free software upgrades to vehicles and free wheel locks (i.e. The Club), typically in coordination with regional police departments. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said in February that the companies have given out 26,000 wheel locks since November 2022. A September 2022 report by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) showed that immobilizers were standard on 96 percent of cars sold in the US by 2015 but only 26 percent of Kias and Hyundais. Cars with immobilizers were stolen at a rate of 1.21 per 1,000 insured vehicles, according to the IIHS; those without immobilizers had a 2.18 per 1,000 rate. Kia and Hyundai's far-too-thrifty design decisions might have been simply a balance sheet story were it not for the "Kia Challenge," a 2022 TikTok trend that detailed theft techniques and joyrides. By February 2023, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration attributed 14 crashes and eight deaths to challenge-inspired thefts.
The problem is that there is no immobiliser, so all you need to do is turn the switch behind the lock cylinder. The USB plug just happens to fit on that switch nicely. -

Supposedly once it's defenses are assured the orchestra will be pulling out of bakhmut and resting/retraining, if ukraine can let it go.
I'm glad it's over. Maybe this will wake Ukrainians up to their jedi "leaders" sending their boys into the meat grinder. -

I once was fucking this hooker in Kiev for a few days. Her sister injected her lips with collagen, and did it badly, so she had big uneven puffy lips. But those big puffy lips were really nice to kiss, and she sucked my dick like a hungry baby cow. But she was very fat, and sometimes that made penetration difficult. She asked me for €500 cos she borrowed money to open a shop, and the shop failed, so she had debt payments to make (and apparently an apartment full of stock).
She was too close to a circus clown for me, plus GG was wondering why I didn't want to see her for days at a time. Kinda wonder where she is now. -

2023-05-16 at 9:52 PM UTC in Guys star trek is gangster as fuckNot really. This was in May last year, the war had been going on nearly 3 months (which felt like a long time) and the flow of people had reversed - instead of fleeing in panic everyone was going back into Ukraine. I had a train ticket booked to Kiev, but when I got to Przemysl I seen all the Ukrainian people queuing up to go back and I felt really sad and depressed and sorry for everyone, and I felt that I couldn't cope with being in a packed train with loads of refugees, and I felt guilty and like a tourist and a gawker at a tragedy.
I spoke to GG and she said she'd come to Poland, so I decided not to go to Kiev at all.
It was kinda a pussy out and a cope. She came to Krakow by bus, we had an OK holiday. It was her first time abroad. Then she wouldn't come to Ireland, and instead went back to Kiev, again by bus. -

their argument later on was essentially 'the President didn't actually say it so it doesn't count'
there were more statements and releases meant to make them believe it was genuine, but it doesn't really matter does it? NATO claimed they weren't going to try to move into the former Warsaw Pact countries but did anyway, and Russia felt they had to put a stop to it because potentially moving their TBMs and missile shields to within 400km of Moscow was unacceptable.

Only neutron bombardment induces radioactivity to any appreciable level.
All that this DU is doing is raising the background imperceptably.

Probably the chemical toxicity of uranium will be a bigger problem than the radioactive danger.
