Yeah, okay mash. That's only a couple hundred thousand dollars worth of LSD. No biggie. -

2018-12-09 at 8:19 PM UTC in Is §m£ÂgØL the dumbest user on this site?I've told the story in full before. Multiple times. You were around for pretty much the entire thing as well, so I'm surprised you've got the timeline and events so wrong. You don't remember being on Tinychat with me and Unwyred, and me telling you everything after I got back? There was no buttsex discussed. It would be an entire year until I had true buttsex.
If you have questions I'll answer them, but I'm not typing up a whole story again.
I was initially going to hitchhike for around a month until I realized I didn't like doing it alone. You mentioned the company of good people. Try being totally alone. I wasn't about to put myself through that in the name of 'adventure.' It's emotionally and physically draining. Especially worrying about where you're going to sleep for the night. I'm glad I had the option to not be forced into that kind of life.
It's still cool though, because I know I have the ability to get anywhere I want with absolutely nothing. It gave me a lot of confidence. Like when I got stuck in Taiwan I wasn't like "FUCK WHAT AM I GONNA DO THE BUSSES STOPPED RUNNING AND I HAVE NO SERVICE" it was just like, the next step in solving my problem. One of my favorite things to do when I'm somewhere new is to get lost and wander now. I fucking LOVE being lost, because that means I get to be active and problem solve and discover new places along the way. -

Basically, everybody smoked everywhere doing everything, and if you didn't smoke, you were frowned upon as a weirdo or a nerd.
That sounds incredibly shitty. I'm glad I wasn't around for that. I remember people smoking in restaurants and some other places indoors but usually with a smoking section. -

2018-12-09 at 7:22 PM UTC in Typically, if you go out of your way to ask questions about and show interest in someone's life...Yep. People love talking about themselves.
Because of this I usually get to know people way better than they know me. I ask lots of questions. -

Originally posted by Grimace I like §m£ÂgØL. Genuinely, I do. We go back a few years now. History n' shit. That has to be worth something. I think it is.
That said, ever since his "Hitchhiking Into Conception" fiasco where he Greyhound bussed to Florida and only actually hitchhiked once, and then lost his virginity to Hydro, had her husband fuck him in the ass, had her convince him that he was the father of her baby, and all of that BULLSHIT (that we tried to tell him so at the time, but he wasn't hearing it)…
…Ever since then, he has taken on this "Holier Than Thou" stance and somewhat of a "sage" because he went to school to study Chinese and went to Taiwan. Hitchhiked and "narrowly escaped a pregnancy", which isn't at all what he portrayed in his e-books he tried to sell online, documenting the experience.
§m£ÂgØL means well, I think. I think he's just very inexperienced in "real world" scenarios and circumstances and lives in the mindset of an amateur philosopher or dreamer, which isn't a bad thing, it just isn't practical and has no use in a 21st Century lifestyle.
§m£ÂgØL is not dumb. He is just inexperienced.
Literally every time you tell my hitchhiking story you completely get all the facts wrong. I don't think I have ever seen you tell it and not get several things wrong. A lot of stuff that happened didn't even happen yet when i published. Most of it actually. I don't know why I published or wrote it. I remember after hydro pulled a gun on me her grandmother told me "hey at least now you have some new stuff for your book"
Also I hitchhiked for 3 days straight with like 15 different rides, from my front door to hydros. No paid transportation until the way back when I decided long distance hitchhiking sucked and I never wanted to do it alone again. You ever been stranded in a city with no car or bed or money? It sucks. Cops either treat you like an adventurer or a piece of shit. I had to walk to a different town at one point because a cop threatened to arrest me for hitchhiking (not against the law where i was) and then followed me until I left that town. Then I found a spot and a cop from a different town picked me up and bought me food. Super nice dude. Took me to a truck stop where i found a ride to Memphis.
I also did some minor hitchhiking in Taiwan when I got stuck in the mountains.
If anybody wants to hitchhike abroad with me, I would love it. I really wanna go again. I just don't ever wanna hitchhike alone. I'm pretty happy with having done it. Most people don't have the experience of meeting new strangers daily like that. People know there's zero chance of seeing you again so they're willing to open up and talk about anything. Usually nobody is that sincere or honest when you first meet them. And if they are they're probably crazy. -

Alright but you actually have mental issues that make nicotine intake worth it. I've used it before while hallucinating and that shit is jesus level for stopping/relaxing that stuff. Like a breath of fresh air.
You should switch to ecigs tho. Its significantly cheaper. I spent like 30 on juice and coils 3 weeks ago and I still have another week or so of juice and a remaining coil. Just changed it last night too.
If I was still smoking I'd have probably spent that much in a week at the very least. -

2018-12-09 at 8:06 AM UTC in Do you think you'd be brave enough to be in a gunfight?
Originally posted by totse3.com the 1980s was said to be the worst times. but here is the thing. It was in pocketed areas. The crime is lower but is spread everywhere these days. you can get mugged in anywhere USA now that would of been a shocker 20-30 years ago.
I think the information overload is to blame. it feels worse today, but I agree.. the 80s was a fucked up period. and the gun pushed in my face was in the mid-late 80s in one case and around 1979 in another.
I am in my 50s.
Yeah you're right its more spread out, I'm not sure why that is though.
I live in a pretty decent area but homes and cars still get broken into. Banks still get robbed.
But those aren't violent crimes I guess. I can't remember if this was applicable to all crime or just violence. -
