Not so much if you are aware of any models and data from other countries or even within America. There are cities in America with these kinds of programs as well as "safe supply" programs that distribute drugs to addicts. Criminalizing paraphernalia is ridiculous and draconian.
I know you are of course a big fan of Russia style policies but this is the country that necessitated krokodil due to the lack of these kinds of programs. It's obviously reckless to have widespread unchecked free drug giveaways but not changing people for the instruments the use substances they are addicted to is pretty obvious. Like changing an alcoholic for holding an empty bottle or a glass. -

Do you actually live in NOLA? That's literally the place I've wanted to live mote than anywhere else. After reading that I don't really want him as prime minister anymore and think he's much better as a finance minister, which he might consider to be below him at this point.
Why can't we just end the mandates AND kick the protestors out? Trudeau's complete lack of leadership has made it more divisive. This protest was almost completely grassroots and covers alot of issues that have been simmering.
There is no police solution to this and I don't see it ending quickly
