My youngest son lives in TN and I now live in the eastern time zone. I always called my youngest son boo (however it actually came about by thinking about yogi bear and boo boo .. because that’s just how our relationship was) He fell in love with a southern girl and moved to TN. Welp, he scolded me in a weird way and tried to make me feel dirty or something when I called him boo on the phone one day. I was super hurt and kinda angry too .. and really confused. He finally says ... only “jane” calls me that. I’m like ummm... I’ve been calling you boo since you were 2 ...
Then L J who is from FL pops off with “he’s not my boo, he’s my friend” in the same odd densiveness ... thus the reference between word meanings between different parts of the country
TN is built up ... at least where I visited on my move from CA and business travel.

Thanks Soy 💜 it’s not about messing up the thread, it’s deraling my train of thought. I don’t like that posters energy. I never have. His posts only amplify his needy, creepy energy.
I suppose this isn’t the place to try to be productive. I know that. But, writing is tough for me. It use to be my savior. But someone desicrated that by getting rid of (throwing away) over 1500 pages of my work 25 years ago. When I feel the urg which is very rarely, it’s exhausting to get anything out without fear or frustration.
Fuck ... oh well. There is a story there, I just was hoping to get it out .. maybe it would have helped 1 person’s life get better. But not with that kind of creepy distraction .
I’ve fought my whole life, I just need to walk away. Fighting is not what a want, and once again I have a choice.

A few years back I was seeing a therapist to get through a rough time in my life, and she had told me that there was new training for treating internet addiction and other issues related to relationships and the internet.
It’s facinating stuff.

You'll find something.
And maybe, the search itself will be enough to sustain and invigorate you.
