How exactly does one go about finding that proverbial 'equal'? I don't think anyone ever does. It's a lifelong struggle.
I think the first step is to truly understand who and what you are. Being as whole as possible and to not look for someone else to make you whole, but rather to just enjoy the wholeness of each other (whatever that might be). Being equal simply means both being whole. Knowing yourself, your needs, you likes, your wants, your values, things you don't want or don't like or can not tolerate. Once you reach that point, your likely hood of attracting what you want and need will happen .. Trying to picture what that person looks like is counter productive .. People who are as whole as they can be (they can provide for themselves and their necessities) won't desire to manipulate or change or create another human being .. If you can find who YOU are and maintain that and continue to grow emotionally and mentally .. it will happen organically.
That old saying about 2 halves make a whole is the biggest bunch of bullshit ever.

Learning from past life wrongs, doing your best to not create new ones in this life, and finding your true purpose in this life. You won’t find that by polluting your self or looking for your true purpose from outside influences or motivators such as money or fame or greed. Many people find it during their most challenging times, but holding onto it and remembering requires true surrenty and peace.. once you have done so .. your soul’s vibration will reach the correct velocity to become one with the creator ... if not, you come back and do it again or it is also possible to simply burn out and become nothing at all. Very rarely was that the case just 100 years ago.

We are human beings like everyone else .. Being an asshole or a bitch sometimes is being human. When moms love their children and have nurtured them and loved doing so, that bond is forever ... which means it's very possible she will feel you hurting and dishonering yourself. Once you become an adult, Mom's cant steer you in the right direction or protect you. It's a horrible horrible feeling when we feel something is wrong .. Just don't lie to her, mom's can very easily feel like they are going crazy if that is your solution to not feeling guilty

I use to do that ... because I didn’t understand the reactions. Now I just delete what I write if the reactions are bullshit. My thought process is, people’s reactions are often not about me, so I take the equation out of the process ... it’s my sickness.
