My oven hood was 1400.00 retail (it’s gorgeous and walnut) nothing wrong and perfect 75.00
Huge high end farmhouse kitchen sick brand new, 700 retail .. 75 bucks .. my list is extensive .. 1100.00 shower doors 110.00 brand new.
I’ve lost a few buck or had to fix stuff. 1 thing I had to toss .. but my fault cause I didn’t read the discription.
I had an upcycling furnishings business years ago. I sold to designers around the country .. thrift stores and actions, even Santa Barbara “dumpster checking” were my life

So as some of you may know, I bought a house this time last year. I hated the house, but fell madly in love with the property. I had everything I wanted to have done, estimated out .. the grand total was well over 65k including the high end materials, furnishings etc.
My partner and I did the whole job (almost) our selves for under 25k including furnishings.
A lot of money was saved because I paid pennies on the dollar for materials I bought/won at bidfta.com
The main warehouse for amazon, homedepot, haynneedle, wayfair and a few other online sellers are in or near my state. All of their returns go to that site. It’s an auction site.

Pretty cool. That bag of goodies is worth at least $500 from what I can tell.

It’s been a really difficult week for me, the pain in my heart and grief is overwhelming. The last thing I want to do is type on this forum ...
But I want you to think back to the summer of 2013. While you were being bashed in the forums, I messaged you trying to be helpful and trying to be an efriend. I never jumped on that bandwagon.

I am greatful for everyone,every experience, and everything both good and bad that has or is in my life. “It” is all apart of the journey and I embrace and learn to let go too when need be, to take that next step.

While I appreciate the opportunity this site provided us DH refugees, it’s not the place for me.
I really miss the DH 40’s group of 2012. Granted I did cause a lot of disruption and chaos .. I was a bit out of my mind, experimenting with single life, booze, being irresponsible, footloose and fancy free, in a nut Shell a complete mess ... but that forum was my support system in moving forward alone and into the unknown which petrified me.
A lot of really shitty things happened on that site too ... it was an intense experience. But I’m just sad that it’s gone ...
Does anyone know of any fun, sometimes outrageous, creative, forums that more mature interesting and maybe a tad more stable posters post actively?
