At this point, I can’t speak for all Americans, but I don’t give 2 shits about collusion. I care about our democracy being compromised. I don’t care if trump won with Putin’s help or not; Russia needs to be held accountable.
It seems that trumps “witch hunt” talk is catching on. He is sewing doubt in so many, which I’m sure is calculated. I can only try to go by the words that come out of a person’s mouth, and trump has no credibility with me.

You know I am in awe of your intellect on global politics. I’d love to pick your brain for hours.
But you and I will have to agree to disagree. This investigation is not a sham.
You have to remember you are an outsider looking in. The general feel in this country, right now, is disgust for our POTUS kissing Putin’s ass, and this is bipartisan.
Putin’s peeps are even behind trying to cause racial divides in our country. They’d love to see us divided. If you’re reading the indictments Aldra, you will see that they were involved in the propaganda behind Orlando Castiles(sp?) death.
It’s sad that no one knows what to believe anymore. What outlets are credible? I have yet to find an unbiased outlet.

I’m pretty sure these newest indictments will lay it out for us as to the hows and whys. I have not read them.
Saying that other countries, as well as ourselves, have done this before, does not minimize what is going on now. If other countries feel we’ve meddled in their elections, then bring charges against us.
Just because it’s been done before does not make it right.

First I have to say, I am nowhere informed as you are on global politics and history, you are a wealth of knowledge.
Moving on. I’m quite sure you are correct when you say our view of Putin/Russia is skewed by the media, and what our govt wants us to know.
I feel like it seems as though his people like him, but they have no choice to say otherwise.
Now, you speak of them having a “deep state” and fifth column. Do these people voice their opinions without backlash from Putin?
I will give him props for being good at what he does, but what he does is devious and inhumane, something I cannot stand behind.
