I'm considering getting one now just to play around with.

But losing it (or it being stolen or something like that) seems like a potential downside worth considering. I guess having a backup method of authentication to get in and disable the physical key would be pretty feasible.

I still might. It's on the back burner.

When you don't have §m£ÂgØL's gonads on the brain, you're clearly obsessing over me. This is not the first thread where you've tried to mount me on first site.

Next time you do the same, I'm going to quote this post right here to stop that shit dead in its tracks before it turns into page after page of petty drama.

I think too, there are also users who have already registered a lot of alts. Maybe it would be more useful for posterity to have a specified blacklist, but I really have no idea how difficult that would be, I'm just throwing ideas because fuck infinityshock.

I just somewhat arbitrarily chose one of the dozen more recent infinityshock accounts and got the user ID number, then used a conditional that checks if the current poster's user ID was created after that account was created, then it blocks it if that's the case.

You could fairly easily play around with that one single integer (5791).

I'm going to update it with some more customizability very soon.

I don't come from a JS background, matter of fact, i pretty much suck at all the web langs. That's for lack of practice i know. Flask is easy, and Django is manageable as well. But Node is like Electron, and Electron is dope because it's super easy to setup GUI's with it that are cross platform compatible. I think the trick is that they ship a chromedriver with the base package you write a web based GUI in a flavor of JS that is more understandable than vanilla JS, at least to me. I could just learn the web frameworks for Python but i want to be a full stack faggot. And Node and Electron seem infinitely more interesting to me than the Python based web frameworks to be honest.

I can see the appeal with Electron and Chromium and all that. I haven't used them personally, but I guess it depends on what you want to accomplish, and also on certain subjective preferences.

To me, Python just feels right, so that's what I use. Then for UI type stuff I just use standard HTML, CSS, and browser/client-side JS. That way I can accomplish anything that can be done with any other stack.

But, again, which languages, frameworks, and environments you work in are going to ultimately come down to personal preference.

Computational speed might also become a factor when scaling way up, and that's where criteria such as that mentioned by filtration would come into play. But you also want to generally avoid premature optimization.

Browser extensions? What about Linux? Are there reasons for average computer users to get it?

The particular OS one uses is highly personal and subjective.

I grew up on Windows, so I use Windows for the most part. However, there are lots of pros and cons in either direction. A lot of people like Mac/iOS, but, personally, I've just never gone that route.

Then there's Linux. I use Linux mostly for testing, running, and deploying various development projects. For everyday computing and whatnot, I'm not so sure Linux is all that necessary.

I would just stick with what you know. That's what I do (unless otherwise necessary).
