    remember that hdd episode ?

That was the simplest mistake that literally anyone can make.

You know that a common error made by surgeons is removing the wrong kidney during a transplant/donation?

Literally everybody makes mistakes. Mine was relatively trivial.

    Restaurants aren't far behind.

Why shouldn't we encourage people to aspire for greater achievements, and automate the rest?

    Where's the downside to that?

If someone is so damn insistent that they want to be a dishwasher, then we can shut down one of the 99.99% accurate automated AI dishwashers and let the human wash dishes to their hearts content (THEY WILL NOT reach that 99.99% accuracy, though).

Let's not act like someone whose only job is to clean dishes should do a shit job because they dont make a doctor's salary for cleaning dishes ffs.

I'm talking about a few mere decimal points in margin of error.

The same kind of margin of error that well-engineered machine can cover.

People shouldn't have to be dishwashers. It's a grueling job. Again, I am saying this from experience. Have you ever been a dishwasher? You can't honestly say you enjoyed it and found it spiritually fulfilling.

    idk.

    Everyone has to start somewhere.

You don't think I've heard some absolutely ridiculous programming or computer science questions before?

I prefer to encourage them learning more, rather than quitting altogether.

Of course, messing around with electricity has deeper potential repercussions... Electrical shock can be fatal.

But I can't imagine testing =<12 volt wires with a multimeter being all that fatal.

I remember reading about how this track was somehow "controversial"... "Blurred lines" seemed to strike a chord in a bunch of people.

Regardless, awesome song, and super sexy video.

I literally tried using meth as a weight loss aid before (heck, it worked in Requiem for a Dream)... But I just couldn't keep it up daily for more than a few days.

I always inevitably have to tap out.

I actually have a pair of adjustable dumbells... Bought em literally nearly two decades ago... Durable as fuck.

They go up to 45 kg, I believe.

I also have a workout bench that I've been using as a coffee table, lol.

But yeah, I do plan to get back on the health and fitness wagon.

Evidently they gave me a shot of ativan in my ass. Woke up handcuffed in the er, having no idea what happened. Some asian nurse told me I tried to fight the cops which was total bs and still didn't explain anything. Later was told I didn't fight them but was just so out of it after coming out of the seizure that I didn't know what was going on and just tried to get up and walk away and the cops just wanted me to lay down.

I felt pretty upset about the whole thing.

Damn... Well at least take consolation you're not alone in having such experiences.

I've blacked out and woken up in all kinds of crazy places... A few drunk tanks in different cities for one, but at least once in a hospital bed too.

    It's a brutal experience.

If I recall correctly, you're about mid 20's or so?

In my early 20's, I was in perfect shape (or, at least, close to it).

I'm not saying you're guaranteed to balloon up or anything. It doesn't happen to everyone.

And, contrary to popular belief, metabolism doesn't really "slow down" with age... (it does kinda, but in negligible/trivial ways).

But staying in decent shape takes a certain degree of effort. At least, it did/does for me.

You're hitting the gym, though, and that's awesome.

I've been letting myself go lately and have KINDA tried to work my way back into healthier habits... Like, I make sure I clock at least 5,000 steps a day (although some days I do fall short)... It's just walking, but I want to make it a habit.

I also recently fixed the stationary bike I have at home (I had to buy an entire ratchet set just to fix it... WORTH IT THO). But I have to work my way back up gradually to where I once was (doing an hour a morning, five mornings a week).

Right now, I consider 5 minutes an accomplishment.

    Like Lao Tzu says:

"The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step."

    Damn.

Yeah, shit can get real, real quick.

I mean, I've had all kinds of bodily damage occur as a result of, or at least, temporally following, extreme drunkeness.

One of my two main top front teeth is half real, half fake... I don't know what the material is.

I got beat up outside a bar for talking shit to a psychopath.

But the thing with the cops... They should know better. I didn't so much as call the cops when I was in the E.R. from those injuries from mr psychopath. But when the cops beat my ass... I should have reported that as of day 1... not day 700...

Have you ever been a dishwasher?

It's not exactly an enviable position.

Why should they get paid minimum wage and be expected of the exact same results as a plastic surgeon making close to a million dollars a year?
