   Yeah, but less and less.
   
   The two security cams in the back, the chiming and other sounds that go off when anyone comes too close, etc, are all having an impact (tweakers, schizos, and criminals are all scared of cameras... And if they fall into more than one of the aforementioned categories, there is a compounding effect).
   
   Also, I've been saying "no" more and more when I get phone calls or buzzes at my door.
   
   That being said, the buzzes at the front door are still an absolute nuisance. I need a way to intercept them, and even silence them altogether.
   
   I hate living in an old ass building without fancy video intercom and all that. I can't know who it is until I pick up the intercom handset.

    I've seen some freelance "consultants" make lots of coin and they don't even really need to do that much direct coding.
    
    But these are typically individuals with upwards of a decade of work experience, and demonstrate exceptional expertise in a particular area.
    
    But you can't just be any geek off the street.
    
    Gotta be handy with the steel if you know what I mean... Earn ya keep.

    Buying that USB sound card ASAP. Luckily it ships to Canada, is only $10, and works with Linux. The only thing I'm a tad worried about is whether or not the RPi in particular can handle it. From what I gather it uses software for audio processing, and I've read some stuff online about RPi not being ideal for audio processing, and I know that in order to use GPIO, I have to use the Raspbian Linux Kernel specifically (from what I understand, at least).
    
    Either way, $10 is nothing so I'll buy one of these and give it a shot.

    In all fairness, I'm super lazy when it comes to TOR... Having to find a working URL, the slow speeds, remembering all kinds of passwords I don't normally use... and then 2-Factor Authentication (when enabled).
    
    I just happened to have TOR up and had everything ready so I went and made an account.
    
    I RARELY go on TOR though.
