Let's debate if zionism is real :grugbrain:
I mentioned from the get go that I don't want to debate whether or not Zionism is reality.
For all I know, it very well may be.
I was trying to offer a relatively objective explanation of the two prejudices mentioned in the title of this thread.
I fully concede that Global Zionism COULD be a legitimate conspiracy that embraces us all.
I acknowledge that there is a predominantly Jewish presence in all the most powerful areas of society (Hollywood, News media, Banks, Lobbyists, etc). This discrepancy in power (in favor of the jedis), is not something I refute.
Heck, I even sometimes wonder myself if an American Zionist conspiracy is real.
But I try to avoid jumping to conclusions. -

Don't get me wrong... as much as I feel like the odd-man out here so often for it, I am neither anti-Black, nor anti-Jew... the two prejudices are actually fundamentally different.
A general pattern I've noticed is that:
1. The hatred towards Jews is entirely political and based on the theory of a Zionist conspiracy. I'm not going to sit here and try to directly counter the claims that such a conspiracy exists. But the whole anti-jedi thing is based around the theory that they are controlling the entire world (by being in control of the purse strings via bank ownership, or by controlling the media that influences us all, etc).
2. The hatred towards Blacks is pretty much entirely about the higher crime rate that exists amongst African Americans. Some official statistics actually do support this discrepancy in criminal behavior, BUT, there are so many other factors that need to be considered (are blacks more likely to be arrested for EQUIVALENT CRIMES as whites simply because of police prejudice? Are blacks more likely to commit crimes because they also, predominantly, happen to be more likely to be lower class - thus implying that socio-economic class is a bigger contributor than race). And then there's the argument that hundreds of years of oppression just straight up fucks with a person's head and might increase the chances of them flipping out towards authority.
In fact, the two prejudices are so different that I can't help but wonder if they are actually simply a result of straight up xenophobia (distrust of "others" in the most general sense). -

I'm just trying to be diplomatic.
The thing is, you can still be kind of a dick to people sometimes, and I'm not going to jump right in every single time.
I've seen first hand that you are a genuine person with a lot to offer. But I've also seen you be really cruel sometimes.
The way I see it, the better part you display is the real you, and when you're being a dick, it's probably just coming from a place of temporary negativity.
As long as it doesn't put me at odds with other friends of mine on here, I will come to your defense. But if I encounter a situation where you are at odds with someone else I have an equal degree of appreciation for, I'm probably just going to sit at the sidelines. It's just too much unnecessary drama and tension. -

I've been considering getting into online selling... most likely dropshipping (it's the latest craze, sure, but it can work well if done right).
There are all kinds of analytics API's out there (for Google and Facebook for sure). Amazon has to have something.
I've played around with a couple of them.
I'm researching this stuff all the time. If I find something Amazon specific, I will let you know. -

Being the perpetual alcoholic that I am, I have been in this situation an immeasurable number of times (LOTS of fluids in the system right before bed - diuretic fluids for that matter).
I can never fall back asleep though.
Back when I was living out of a minivan, I used piss jugs when I didn't want to go to the trouble of sauntering outside in the middle of the night.
I have to admit to being so lazy, though, that I've considered doing the same even now that I'm living in an apartment, with a bathroom a mere few feet from my bed. -

I actually watched this not too long ago myself.
This was back when Forest Whitaker was a lot less well known (although he was on Fast Times at Ridgemont High back in the 80's, albeit rather briefly).

I haven't heard this song in nearly 15 years.
But WellHung's SG thread about saving horses brought it to mind.
They used to play this song at least once a night EVERY SINGLE TIME I went to this one nearby bar at the time, and I went AT LEAST once a week.
