Okay, so if i recall correctly the matrix was reloaded/reset by the machines after neo suicided to smith.
This to me suggests that the new movie will continue down this road.
What puzzles me, is how the hell neo/trin etc gets plugged back into the matrix again? They both died in reality, their physical bodies left to decompose, at least trinity's. The ai took neo's body somewhere else.
But either way, you can't plug dead people into the matrix.
The only way that it would work, is if the ai located each dead individual and resurrected them and then plugged them into the matrix one by one, but that seems a bit far fetched. But then again, both neo and trinity appears to have the power of resurrection.
It could also be that the real world is also a matrix. That could pretty much fix every plot hole.

It all comes from the external world. Without input we've got nothing to feed out imagination with.
Even people in dreams that you have no recollection of ever seeing are simply composites of memories.

They are without memory yes, at least until you become lucid.
This tells us something about memory.
You can remember a dream when you wake up, but where was that memory recall when the dream started? You don't know who, where, or what the fuck is going on. You're just on autopilot, doing whatever the dream wants you to.
We recall our dreams when we wake up, but are unable in dreams to remember that we're sleeping. Maybe its because we're not trying?
I can imagine several centers of the brain going into sleep mode will have an impact on certain functions, including but not limited to cognitive abilities in dreams. But the memory still works for some reason, atleast parts of it.
Life is repetition.
You can spice it up by stepping out of your comfort zone multiple times daily.
If you feel like your life is dull, then have no fear. Your life is the way it is because that's how you want it, otherwise you woulda changed it.
So what if he got it?
