I live in a fairly cold climate, so fluff isn't a problem. That eliminates Rhodesian Ridgebacks and the like though, because I don't want to have to knit sweaters for the thing in the winter.
Maintenance, eh. Tommy will be in charge of feeding and brushing it. Exercise shouldn't be a problem since we have a yard, Tommy roams around all the time, and I run daily.
Samoyeds look pretty darling. -

So, the question is, what kind should I get? Obviously shibes rule, but having a small dog screams 'cuck'. The shibe has a larger cousin, the Akita Inu, which is pretty badass though. Putin has one named Yume. People have also recommended German shepherds to me, but they seem...generic. And they're fucking German.

If you really love your spawn, that would give it the best chance at survival and prevent further harm down the road. You could even have an open adoption where you write the little thing postcards and shit.
