I Need a Doggo

   I'm thinking about getting a doggo for Tommy. I've wanted one for a while, and it seems like it might finally be a good time.
   
   So, the question is, what kind should I get? Obviously shibes rule, but having a small dog screams 'cuck'. The shibe has a larger cousin, the Akita Inu, which is pretty badass though. Putin has one named Yume. People have also recommended German shepherds to me, but they seem...generic. And they're fucking German.

   I'm not insecure, but practically speaking small dogs are gay. I want a beast of a woofer that can sink its teeth into more than just an ankle.

   I live in a fairly cold climate, so fluff isn't a problem. That eliminates Rhodesian Ridgebacks and the like though, because I don't want to have to knit sweaters for the thing in the winter.
   
   Maintenance, eh. Tommy will be in charge of feeding and brushing it. Exercise shouldn't be a problem since we have a yard, Tommy roams around all the time, and I run daily.
   
   Samoyeds look pretty darling.

   They are both cute and fluffy, as well as protective and tough. They're sled dogs, related to the WOLF. Plus, they are playful as well as independent and have no problem playing or laying outside in the snow in frigid temps.
