I'm still on government assistance.
I've accepted that I'm autistic and severely mentally ill, along with having asymmetrical (stunted or delayed, in some ways) development, along with personality variables, that led to this outcome.
I think I may genuinely be mildly psychopathic because it's possible my mother may not have that long to live and what naturally comes to mind is that this may be a positive outcome due to being a burden as well as seeing an early death as preferable for most human beings. More of daddy's money for me if there's one less person around to compete for it.
Southern California sucks. I want to go back to the bay area and live on my own. Well, if you live in or near a downtown area it might be alright. At least I found a dispensary with great deals nearby to act as a replacement for Purple Star and help alleviate my sleep problems.
I am planning on studying computer science/programming and aiming for a high paying job like Lanny did because I've accepted that I need to be able to support myself and receive more money. The Lanny route via the financial industry does have its appeal; my previous thoughts on what to do with my life were completely unrealistic given the state I was in. I wonder if Lanny considers himself a parasite, given what he enables, and if therefore I would still be viewed as one as well.
Career goal: High ROI parasitism.
So I'll probably remain on SSI for 4 years and receive a tuition waiver along with a higher acceptance rate status while going to school full time.
Hey, at least I'm planning to get off it and finally do something with my life. I also don't view the financial industry as unequivocally parasitic.

2017-12-18 at 12:42 AM UTC in What if what we think is consciousness is just a bunch of if/else statements?Consciousness implies the ability to feel, or awareness. It should be considered independently of free will.
Free will is more or less bullshit, and experiments have shown that electrical impulses in the brain precede a person's conscious decisions - ie. we fool our selves into thinking that we are making decisions with our souls or whatever, but really the decision is made mechanically.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neuroscience_of_free_will#Libet_experiment
However the idea that the brain follows discreet logical steps or pathways is kinda pushing it. The average brain is a complete mess, and stuff like persuasion science and memetics proves how irrational people are. The brain is more like a standard fuck party than a computer. -

I know those people left a long time ago but I still enjoy coming here and reading what people write and sharing my own interests too. And I do expect some of you to be nothing more than assholes. But I'm not posting this stuff to appear a certain way or "hey everybody I'm so spiritual" or whatever GP said. I'm just being me. This is who I am, I can't help it. And those of you who are assholes, well thats what you are. I don't expect you to change at all.
I understand what you mean. Some of the "rivalries" online here make sense, but so much of it seems like arbitrary disdain toward people with no real pretense. Maybe it's just comfortable to be able to have certain members to always personally fuck with for no real good reason. But I can't profess to know why certain members dislike certain other members to any extent that no matter what one of them posts the other while always find a way to disagree with it even if they completely agree with it. That shit I don't understand but TOTES WHATEVS. -

a pyramid is unequal with a base that leads towards the top, this suggests a hierarchy of power and those at the very top control those below, because there is a bottom and top
a tetrahedron is equal on all faces and every point could be considered a peak, this suggests equality in all facets with different abilities, meaning everyone has a niche and no one is inferior.
a tetrahedron suggest equality and a pyramid suggests stratification in the way of darwin, where those humans at the bottom suffer and those at the top profit. therefore, the tetrahedral structure is the first step towards world peace -

1. The tetrahedron is the simplest system in Universe.
2. It is the minimum set which divides Universe into macrocosm and microcosm.
3. Its geometry appears out of pure conceptuality.
4. Minimum consideration is a four-star (four event) affair that is tetrahedral.
5. The tetrahedron occurs conceptually independent of events and independent of relative size.
6. It is the basic structural unit of physical Universe quantation.
7. It has the fundamental prime number oneness.
8. It is a form of energy package. (See Figure 1)
9. It satisfies the requirement of quantum mathematics for four quanta numbers for each uniquely considerable quantum.
10. It is transformable.
11. Nature uses it for her fundamental transformation of organic and inorganic chemistry.
12. At the level of general systems consideration of special cases, thoughts spontaneously resolve themselves into the tetrahedron.
13. Tetrahedron considered as the number two, represents unity, as unity is at minimum two.
14. As the number 2, i.e., the rational energy quantum of physics and the topological tetrahedron of the vector equilibrium (VE), it rationally accounts for all physical and metaphysical (author's note: i.e., metaphysical is without mass/matter, unweighable) systems. (See Figure 5)
15. It is the minimum thinkable set." -

But my point was that some people believe that the shit their brain concocts after smoking DMT actually physically exist in REALITY.
Like as the OP said there was “interference from other dimensions” or some shit. No there wasn’t, he just imagined there was because he was high.
Yeah, and when people say they're getting high they mean that they're rising in altitude

because your perception is generated from your mind. lsd and other hallucinogens enable you to clear all that shit that interferes with your day to day thinking. all those ideas that society and other influences impose on us that we just go along with, they affect our whole perception. on acid you will see shit so clearly for what it really is. its truly mind-blowing when it happens. many times i do acid i look at my life and the shit i've been doing and suddenly i'm like 'why the fuck have i been doing/thinking like that'. its like it enables you to look at shit from all different angles.

This is some low level analysis.
Are you saying that things happening inside your head are not real?
Are you actually telling me that your beliefs, associations, memories, dreams and ambitions are not real because they are not empirically detectable by a third party?
Please don't talk to me about brain scans and electrical signals because these merely show you which regions of the brain are activated, not the content of your mind - you cannot reduce these things to the biological level.
Tell me, is math real? Because math is something the human brain invented completely out of its head. It is not a discovery
Does that mean it's not real? If you had no objects to count, no dimensions to measure, no equations to solve, would that mean that math is not real because it exists only in your head?
So yes, you smoke some drugs and shit happens inside your head, shit directly caused by doing some drugs.
Just because somebody sober can watch you while you're high and see that you're simply laying there does not mean that any of the shit you see in your head is not "real".
I bet your friends can't see the mental archetypes you've constructed over your lifetime, that doesn't mean that shit isn't real. It just means an external conscious entity can't access these things unless you use words, art or actions to communicate them.
Just like you can smoke DMT and then use words, art or actions to either communicate what you experienced or take action to change aspects of your life because of your experience.
That is about as real as it can get. -

Yeah, this. I mean to be fair Orwell was writing fiction. Politically charged fiction sure, but it's really only in interpretation by edgy teenagers that it's taken to be an actual political argument that's somehow applicable to the real world. As literature it's very long winded in setting up its world, like way more time on exposition than there was any reason for, especially since Orwell is one of those writers with a massive hardon for direct writing. "Book in a book" is almost always a shitty trope (see Borges for how it's supposed to be done) and Orwell did it worse than most in 1984. His main character is both a literal and figurative cuck who's only quality to endear himself to readers is how much everyone and everything shits on him.
Animal Farm's barnyard animals are literally more human characters than the cast of 1984. I actually think Orwell's nonfiction has its charm, Shooting an Elephant really impressed me when I read it. It's just that his most popular novel is an absolute trainwreck. -

There is literally nothing to be gained from talking to the retard. You cannot logic someone out of a position that they haven't logicked themselves into.
Stefan Molyneux only argues in an environment where he has absolute control, and before an audience that is willing to accept his arguments in bad faith; you call him, he has the power to shut your mic off, the power to gish-gallop without end and call you rude if you call him out for it, then refuse to address you and dismiss you because you're supposedly rude.
Molyneux has literally never addressed any legitimate criticism leveled at him through calling in to his show. He will never do so. He is not a philosopher, he is a cult leader who leads insane people. -

Kinda doesn't matter when you're waiting a week between workouts. The point is to *keep* tearing and to *keep* healing.
Also if you want to strength train rather than get buff, you should be going for reps, not intensity. If you don't like doing reps then don't be surprised when you aren't getting stronger.
Fix your workout and see if it works instead of taking drugs you know nothing about. Hormones aren't toys m8.
