Yes, your mark is just a random member of the people currently playing, so you can be marked by several players. I thought about this a bit, not sure I like it. It puts people who start early at a disadvantage since the earlier you join the more chances you have to pick up a word. I considered the alternative of making the person with the fewest taboo words be the one marked by any new entrant but the issue there is people will tend to pair off, each pair that joins will have each other as marks while I like the asymmetry of "hunting" one person and being "hunted" by another. Maybe the answer is some geometric distribution over number of times a person is marked so people who are not heavily marked will get picked more but you still get more picks further down the list.

So I've been thinking about a couple of site features that I don't really think live in the core forum code, don't apply to forums in general (like polls for example) but which might be nice to have. So I tried slapping together an extension system and I thought a forum game would be a good exercise. So the game is called Taboo, we ran a similar game back on zoklet briefly, basically you're trying to get someone else to say some word (they don't know which word) and if you do it they get banned for a day. Other people are trying to do the same to you. It's opt-in so if you think this sounds stupid just don't sign up. It's also highly experimental, so beware bugs and if things fuck up let me know.

Technically the id number order is undefined so that the DB can make some optimizations by not needing to maintain that constraint. There are situations like when two user creation transactions are live simultaneously that it's advantageous to set aside ids when the transactions start, not knowing which is going to finish first, so you don't have to rollback and reexecute if they don't finish in the expected order. Or if one fails but had the preceding PK but the other already completed, there's just no way to rollback once the transaction is committed. In practice though it's fairly rare and the number of concurrent transactions like this is pretty low so if your id is lower than someone else's it's very likely you joined before them.
The reason some people's ids are high is because we get a lot of spambots and alts. Spectroll claims to have registered a ton in anticipation of being banned but I haven't checked. The actual number of users in the database right now is 3591, although obviously the majority of them have few or no posts.

IIRC a Glock 19 is pretty much the perfect introductory concealed carry weapon. The 9mm subcompact if I have the wrong model. Good stock parts, only modification you may want is to have good night sights installed. Don't buy a gun based on the aesthetics, it isn't an art piece, and ideally you won't be looking at it much.
And suicide isn't a cowards way out, it takes incredible courage to override what is generally our strongest will, the will to live. It all ends in death anyway, voluntary or not, and for most there really aren't good reasons to fearfully cling to life when they have no sound purpose for doing so and will only face a gradual, followed by rapid, decline, their quality of life continually being diminished.

A grilled cheese consists of only these following items. Cheese. Bread with spread (usually butter). This entire forum consist of "melts". Almost every "grilled cheese" sandwich i see on here has other items added to it. The fact that this forum is called "grilledcheese" is nothing short of utter blasphemy. Let me start out by saying I have nothing against melts, I just hate their association with sandwiches that are not grilled cheeses. Adding cheese to your tuna sandwich? It's called a Tuna melt. Totally different. Want to add bacon and some pretentious bread crumbs with spinach? I don't know what the hell you'd call that but it's not a grilled cheese. I would be more than willing to wager I've eaten more grilled cheeses in my 21 years than any of you had in your entire lives. I have one almost everyday and sometimes more than just one sandwich. Want to personalize your grilled cheese? Use a mix of different cheeses or use sourdough or french bread. But if you want to add some pulled pork and take a picture of it, make your own forum entitled "melts" because that is not a fucking grilled cheese. I'm not a religious man nor am I anything close to a culinary expert. But as a bland white mid-western male I am honestly the most passionate person when it comes to grilled cheese and mac & cheese. All of you foodies stay the hell away from our grilled cheeses and stop associating your sandwich melts with them. Yet again, it is utter blasphemy and it rocks me to the core of my pale being. Shit, I stopped lurking after 3 years and made this account for the sole purpose of posting this. I've seen post after post of peoples "grilled cheeses" all over NIS and it's been driving me insane. The moment i saw this forum this morning I finally snapped. Hell, I may even start my own forum just because I know this one exists now.

The guy seriously wouldn't work with me on anything. The first time he came in he gave a blunt account of how fucked up his life was, said there was no hope left for him, and then stopped talking. He literally sat through the rest of our sessions without a word - just looking depressed as all fuck. Wouldn't play cards or anything.

I have a few colleagues, but they're upstanding as far as I know. I have worked in practices where the other shrinks were shit though. A lot of them like to diagnose depression because it's an easy label to slap on someone and makes their job easier because they don't have to listen to their client's concerns as much. They brush it off as 'oh you're just depressed, try some drugs'.
Another thing I noticed them doing was diagnosing severe illnesses or saying someone had tendencies of a severe illness when that wasn't the case. Treating more high-profile wackos always looks better on your record.
We can't actually prescribe drugs. What most often happens is we give someone a recommendation for drugs that they then take to their doctor or psychiatrist. Our recommendations carry a lot of weight, so it is very unusual for doctors not to follow them. Doctors usually don't even want to do a thorough examination of someone when they've already been evaluated.
