One camp wants to completely reject its existence but that camp completely disregards the psychology of conditioning. Psychologically you condition yourself to a certian stimulus and when that stimulus is taken away the brain goes "What the fuck dude?" for a while until it normalized. Its absolutely true that there are little to no physical symptoms of withdrawal from marijuana but to say that psychological symptoms arent present than you are simply a fool.
Really though it is far worse to substitute something that will give you a psycological discomfort when you quit for something that will bring physical dependence when abused. The best advice is really to just quit and deal with it for the time it takes. You might not want to eat much for a week or two. Sleep may be a bit difficult. Focus and energy may be low for a bit. But that is about it. Getting benzoed out wont help much except for the sleep and even then the sleep you get on benzos wont be as good for you as re-regulating your brain to a natural sleep schedule.The following users say it would be alright if the author of this post didn't die in a fire! -
