2023-04-19 at 9 AM UTC in The official horror threadAfter months or possibly years I decided to watch an American horror movie. I technically started yesterday but I finished it today. It was Fear Street 1994 (2021) and it's a part of a trilogy so I'm going to watch the rest too. While watching it, I realized why I had stopped watching American horror movies. They're cringe and cliche. I used to love horror movies, especially slashers like this one albeit this is a supernatural slasher. I guess we all grow up and none of these teen horror movies appeal to me anymore like they used to when I was.. well, a teenager. This is all the proof we needed to conclude that I am, in fact, an old man now. Like I said, it's a trilogy so I will definitely start watching the rest as well. Either today or tonight, depending on whether or not I will be sleeping today.
