2022-07-08 at 12:51 AM UTC in What I miss most about being in a faithful long term relationshipI lived in wisconsin my entire life and have talked to less than 6 people from my old life in the last two months, made a new facebook, got a new telephone number, ignored anyone that finds my new facebook/number and tried to get ahold of me, am learning spanish, and living life as a nicer, kinder person who helps others and is kind. Except for when I snap which has only happened a couple of times in the last 6 weeks but caused everyone to know I'm kinda nuts under my veneer of kindness and am generally well liked

2022-07-08 at 12:47 AM UTC in What I miss most about being in a faithful long term relationshipI detoxed for 9 days in a hospital and then went to inpatient residential treatment for 60 days where they got me clean button ups, slacks, new shoes, occuptaion training, back on my medications, a dental visit, a doctor visit, 4 meals a day, I have a counselor I talk to for an hour once a week 1 on 1, and then I do group classes for 90 minutes in the morning and the afternoon on weekdays. We hang out and grill and I have my own room wih my own bathroom, they're taking me to the DMV and have job sources, so once I finish my occupational training I'll be given a job doing security for warehouses or construction sites, keep my welfare money & benefits for 11 months under the right to work program I applied for and got into, and then when I leave place me into my own small apartment where I pay 1/3 of my income in rent for a year.
Started a new sober life in a city where it's always warm and full of beautiful women. I leave the residential treatment facility/rehab the first or second week of August. -

Rehabs going good, it's kinda repetitive everyday the same. I got a new watch I really like and have had a lot of time spent reading books and basking in the sun. Cigarettes are also half the price as they were in Wisconsin.

Ya I stopped drinking malt liquor everyday while I dumbed myself down with weed, I've been sober for 38 days, taking my medication, and this is what I'm like. Of course I'm not gonna be "nearly the same as it has been" for the last decade. -
