GTA3 was amazing at the time, it created a whole genre and is arguably responsible for the current state of gaming and its obsession with open-world sandboxes. Sure. It was a technical landmark in gaming.
But that's more a result of when it was released than it is the actual quality of the game relative to later installments. 🤔 -
