   I would not recommend using Sudafed because of the containment of wax used in the binding of the pills. Don't send me a dozen private messages asking me for intricate step by step advice.
   
   But I will suffice to say if you live in the United States you should be using Walgreen's generic brand Wal Phed due to it's non reactive bindings that won't contaminate the final product according to my online sources
   
   Also don't be lazy and do an acetone wash at the end in a pan of mylar or a glass shot glass. People think you lose a lot but I read online that you lose mostly contaminates still present in the precipitate.
