That said what do you mean by "here is my bill"? Was it your bill in the sense that you had to you pay that out of pocket and only got $20 in return? Or is that what you billed them? Because actually yeah it's kind of fucked up to be charging one off clients for parts and repairs to your own damn equipment like that, especially if you just tack it on the invoice without negotiating that kind of thing beforehand. Like, you should be charging enough hourly to cover those additional expenses (but then you wouldn't be able to offer competitive rates like $20/hr ig). -

lmao but also the issue was not so much the "not getting laid" part as it was the manifestation of the psychological damage not getting causes some young men. read: contempt and hatred for the world, and certain happy normal people living in it happily and normally. which, tbh, is a pretty fair emotional response to a world that demonstrably has little beyond contempt for them... but like, knowing that, it's quite silly to then go and give said world any more of an excuse. -
