I went to Japan a lot of times in the navy and it's pretty boring. Not in a bad way, people very polite and helpful if your lost or can't find out which train you need.
One problem is many people there have a weird American culture fetish. And kinda weird being on the street say in Tokyo and you're taller than about everyone, like looking over a sea of black hair.
All in all I'd say a good place for a vacation and especially for people worried about crime, place is extra safe.
Go as Wariet and annoy everyone asking if they saw a 12yo and roundhouse kick their trees.

Ha Ha for real I think there is a limit on kids you can claim and get more money so I have known people in the past borrowing kids. Basically you claim you supported them that year and they lived with you. Hillbillies love beating the gov and getting free money.

I tell people I'm retard instead of retired. Fuckers will not leave me alone for more than a few days. I get suckered into working on someones junker, actually I don't mind helping out an old customer I've done work for years. Good chance to stay active, make a little cash and those old guys worse than women because I get to hear all the gossip in the area.
